In dash dvd, video in the front seats is not dumb and it is not illegal. It is not a waste of money and it is not played out. I never watch something when I am driving. haha No offense but everything you said was retarded. Personaly I have 3 monitors in my car. 1 up front 2 in back. My reason is simple. Because I like to entertain my friends. My friends always want to take my car cause I have monitors to watch movies. To play games. They rather do that then stare out a window at tree's on 3 hour trips. I don't see how that is a waste. well that's nice that your friends need video. i dont drive my buddies around and when i do if they complain about being bored they can get the hell out and walk. and I myself have over 20k in only 9 months yet never wanted or needed video. I drive to go somewhere or to drive out anger/sadness not so that i can watch a movie or play ps2.

If anyone thinks any mod makes them cool they're wrong. Especially with car video it is like the new "it" thing and it's dumb.

I'm no where near cool and my car is no where near stock.

I too have been considering an in dash dvd w/ monitor but cannot afford anything over 1,000.... i AM GOING TO BUY the Jensen vm9510 because of three things.

1. THE RESOLUTION IS AWESOME.. 1.x mega pixels.. other, more expensive companies don't even have mega pixel screens.

2. it has a tv tuner (the vm9410 does not, and crappier screen)

3. Price. Just what i want. Dvd, in dash, 7" monitor, tv tuner, all for 600-700 bucks. You CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS...

As for the quality. I know a dozen people who have it and none have had any problems and all love it. That doesn't mean you can't get a bad one (same goes for kenwood, pioneer, eclipse...yadda yadda)

A screen within drivers view is not illegal. Watching a movie or playi ng a game while you DRIVE is illegal. What about all those luxury cars that come stock with navigation? And show the tracks on your CD's, and show your climate control.
