Default e-brake handle change out

I'm a new xB owner, just wanted to know if anyone has changed out the e-brake handle on their xb. Can it be done? Don't want to spend the money to buy one to not be able to do it.

well i could not find the thread but if i can remember it can be done, its a pain in the but. you have to heat the stock one up to melt the glue and it should just pull off.

I just replaced my e-brake and it's true it is a pain in the butt. not only do you have to heat the original you have to cut a little of the boot off to get the after market one to fit right. though, if done properly, it looks really nice.
