Actually I just finished the dash also in paint. I modded so much I forget I even did the ebrake

 

so, i was wondering where did you get the boot for your e-brake? i have an aftermarket handle installed with the original boot, but obviously yours looks much nicer.

 

Ebay Dude Gotta do a Google or search eBay cause I am not sure they make em anymore

It's one of those details easily missed now

 

as far as removing the ebrake handle the official word is:

pull like all hell. I've seen it done, and it took two samoans.

 

Has anybody ever tried using an air compressor and shooting air in between the grip and the actual handle? That's how I removed the grips off my motorcycle when I changed them out and also how grips can be removed from golf clubs when replacing them...just an idea for someone to try....
