Is an iPod upgrade really $900?
Just wanted to confirm that any system that has your using the headphone jack as your "line out" for the stereo is going to produce significantly inferior sound quality. It will sound "muffled" and "muted" no matter how much you monkey around with the stereo controls. In my last car I had a system like this. In my new 2006 xB I have the iPod updgrade option and am using the bottom plug of the iPod. Superior sound! Sounds better than a CD being played in the CD player of the system. I'll never go back to using the headphone jack for any "sound out" . . . for what it is worth.

I think I'll go test out my PocketDock at the local dealer before truly deciding, though.

I, too, was ____ed when I couldn't listen to TWiT until I figured out the work-around. Pioneer will probably need to update their firmware to be able to recognize the podcast menu.
