Let him know that it requires two harnesses when you purchase it on eBay.

I didn't really realize this all until after it was shipped. Lack of doing homework I guess?

Anyways, for >$110 total I'd rather go to a many places as it takes to get all the gear and save the $$$$ for other mods.

We have contacted the manufacturer and they are letting us know. As of this moment they have not tested it on any 2006 Scion.

I Will keep you posted!

I'm pretty sure it works on the 06 headunits, but the functionality won't be the same as the 06 headunit w/ built-in ipod controls. I hear some people even have issues with the 06 headunit w/ built-in ipod controls...

Default Genius!!!!!

Mickochu, you are a genius and very kind for putting up the directions. I ended up getting a generic-ish Ipod2car unit ($133 shipped off eBay, brand new) that was identical to the specs you gave in your instructions.

Took me 20 minutes or so to install it (and I also moved the 6th jumper to ON) and it's the best thing I've done for my xA.

Thanks for your help.
