Let him know that it requires two harnesses when you purchase it on eBay.

I didn't really realize this all until after it was shipped. Lack of doing homework I guess?

Anyways, for >$110 total I'd rather go to a many places as it takes to get all the gear and save the $$$$ for other mods.

Hey All... I wanted to first thank Mikochu for the amazing install how to. Is it really that easy to install?

We have contacted the manufacturer and they are letting us know. As of this moment they have not tested it on any 2006 Scion.

I'm pretty sure it works on the 06 headunits, but the functionality won't be the same as the 06 headunit w/ built-in ipod controls. I hear some people even have issues with the 06 headunit w/ built-in ipod controls...

they offer these at best buy now, it costs $200 and comes with a pxhty3 which is from the looks of it a pxhty1 and 2 together heres a pic of the packaging itself:

in the first picture you can see that it also comes with an ipod cradle, and sorry about the picture quality its from my phone

Mickochu, you are a genius and very kind for putting up the directions. I ended up getting a generic-ish Ipod2car unit ($133 shipped off eBay, brand new) that was identical to the specs you gave in your instructions.

Took me 20 minutes or so to install it (and I also moved the 6th jumper to ON) and it's the best thing I've done for my xA.
