Just wondering if anyone had pics of what the new interior looks like in the 2006.5 XB's? I just ordered mine on Jan. 3rd and it is expected to come in Jan. 28th-Feb.7th....2006.5 Salsa Red Pearl XB. Please post if you do have some pics....

I can take some pics of one that is here in the dealership .. I can tell you that the noticeable changes are as follows:

Steering wheel now has radio controls in it

The material on the door panels and center seat sections have changed, it does look nice.

The passenger airbag and seatbelt light has been moved to the center of the dash below the storage compartment in what use to be the center removeable switch panel.

As far as the color it is very NICE !! It is darker than the salsa red for the xA and dramatically lighter than the Black Cherry. Again I could take photos but I would not be able to upload them until tomorrow, by then I'm sure others would have included photos. Otherwise PM and I will do it for you ..

I have only seen one pic of what an xb looks like in the Salsa Red....I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I GET MINE!

When you ordered your new color, how long did you have to wait? I know you said since October, but is that when you put your order in?

 

I put my order in on October 16th. The reason the wait was so long was because my dealer told me if I could wait that the new color and steering wheel controls were coming...and I decided it was worth the wait. So I just had to wait until they "were" available which was December 29th for me. I think usually it should only take about 4 weeks or so. Good luck and you're going to love it. These cars are awesome.

I noticed in another thread you posted more pics of your xb....just curious, are the wheels you have on there the 15" ones that you can get from the dealership? I hope so cause those look really nice....and plus that is what I ordered!

 

Yep, those are the stock 15" alloys straight from scion. They look really good (at least I think so). Also, be prepared to have the longest 8 days of your life while waiting for your xB...towards the end I was going crazy!

Yes "Private Message" look at the top of site to the right hand side, see the "MESSAGES" button flashing? If it is flashing red, you have a message waiting for you. It took me a while to figure that out as well.
