Default randode's cathodes suggestions/pics

yes I did a search and I only found a few pics so could anyone post some more pics of their randode cathodes...I'm thinking about getting them when I get my springs installed (hopefully next month)...my friends and I are taking couple road trips over the summer and I think some cathodes would help prevent losing stuff/trash in the dark abyss of the leg room in the XB...

also what colors do you suggest for a BCP? I kinda like how the lava matches the rest of the dash stuff, and I dunno if I would like pink...anyone want to throw some opinions my way? and pics too if u got em!

thanks in advance

i have a BCP and i have the blue, and they are really brite, and look nice. i don't think red would look good, and the whites are too plain.

If you are wanting a good amount of light you can always go LED and they are cheaper.

As for the color. I have a total of 7 12" cathode UV(blacklight) in my BCP and it is not even bright at all. I am going to be getting some LED's and take out the cathode since the LEDs put out a whole lot more light.

The color really depends on what scheme you are wanting to go. I think that the UV lights look really good. They do show all the dust and such but I still really like them. My $,02.

Good luck on your decision.

the reason you don't get any light outta your 7 cathodes is because they're UV! If you put 7 blue cathodes in it, you'll have to wear shades

Be different. Put a different color in each normal location. White under one side of the dash, blue under the other, green under one seat, and red under the other. That would be wild and completely different.

This is true... I originally got the blacklights from Randy, and was disappointed with the brightness. Changed to some blue cathodes from ebay, and got some diamond plate floor mats.. It's bright as hell in there now.

I imagine some white floor mats or accents would look good with the Blacklight and brighten things up a bit. Maybe I'll try that later

Yes I know that the reason why they are not bright enough is because they are UV. He was asking for opinions on color. So I gave me $.02 on my set up. The whole reason why I am switching to the LEDs is because the UV is brighter on the LEDs. I have know this and wanted to try the cathodes to see what they would look like.

Thanks for stating the obvious!

I wouldn't mix colors.

White is the freshness though. I might switch to white.
