Why would you want a remote start? Are we getting that lazy?

My xB is my first car with a remote door opener. I'm going to hate the day when my remote door openers don't work anymore.

Get off our feet and start your car yourself.

BTW, has anyone seen my remote for my TV?

You mean to tell me that sitting in your car with it idling for long periods of time is bad for it? I have had many cars and sat idle many a lunch hour outside the local burger king eating a burger in my car with it idling and radio on, never a problem. I did this for years in a 1990 protege and the car ran for 150,ooo miles with nothing but need for a new muffler at 85,000. I dunno about this one. :? I know this isn't a scientific test but it is based on legitimate experience.

Default get a good brand..and installer

Got a baretta alarm system with a remote start. works great. just make sure you're installer know what he's doing. mine is the tech support for Baretta. and the installation was overseen by the engineer that designed the piece. cool thing about Baretta too is that it's easily upgradable by just adding components to the brain. gonna upgrade to two way paging, window and light controls this summer.
oh and if you don't know about Baretta security systems. it s the brand that companies like viper put their sticker on.
look for Roper Installation in Los Angeles.

My parent's and sister used to say the same things... until I got each one of them alarm/remote starts as gifts... now they don't know what they did without it...

It help more in the Northeast section since our climate can be anywhere from extremely cold... to extremely hot basically overnight...

It's always nice and toasty or cool when you get it...
I don't reccomend that you let it run for longer then 20 minutes either...
some cars take longer for the ac to cool the car down... damn civics =\

Well, on the rules of logic, you might be right, but it doesn't necessarily mean you aren't wrong. For example, just because you don't get shot wearing a kkk outfit in the middle of south central LA one day, won't mean that you won'te get shot the next day. Sorry. . . random example. But anyway most mechanics will agree, and I with them, but if you're confident then you're confident. . . I don't exactly have a case study or scientific experiment as proof. But then again, there is no scientific experiment about my first example either. . . hehehe do what you guys want really. I hate feeling like I'm my parent lecturing others.

Oh and yes, when the engine warms up, everything will be cool. . . hahahaha funny. Damn slang assed words workin agains my grammar!
