I think you should get 10 JL Audio 12W7 subs and build a custom box that replaces the back seat and fills the rear of the car. You should feed them with 10 JL 500/1 amps. Power the sustem with a Kenwood or Pioneer DVD/NAV doubledin HU. Do not forget to get 4 headrest monitors to install and a 36" big screen for the very back. A couple 10" screens shining thru the side rear windows would be cool also. Seriously without more info good recommendations are impossible to make.

^Now come on, be serious. How is he supposed to put 4 headrest monitors if his box replaces the back seat? He can only put 2, lol!

Okay, so I narrowed it down on what I want to do. I'm going for a simple set up, and simple look. First I was thinking I should go with one 12" sub, thinking JL's, Audiobahn or Rockford. Someone said I should go with two 12" subs for better sound or go 1 15" sub. I don't really care about the trunk space. But the monitors will come later. What do you guys think???

Thinking of JL, Audiobahn or RF huh? That's kind of a strange grouping. It's kind of like saying "I'm thinking of buying a Ferrari, Yugo, or Chevy. Which one should I get?"
As was asked earlier, what is your overall goal? Do you just want it loud, or are you after sound quality? The two are VERY different. If your ultimate goal is to be loud, then the more woofers, the more surface area... ...the more surface area, the higher the SPL (for the most part). If you are looking for a nice, accurate reproduction with excellent clarity and quality, then you do not need tons of woofers. A single 10 will produce sound more accurately than multiple 12s in most cases.
Budget plays a MAJOR role in setting up a proper system. What are you willing to spend to achieve your goal?
You really need to clarify your intentions before anyone who knows what they are talking about will be able to help you. This is why these ^ guys are teasing a bit. Be more specific and you will get worthwhile information.

Have you looked at Elemental Designs? If you want loud, try this:
1 ED D2 19Ov.2 in a 3.5 ft^3 vented enclosure with 1 ED Nine.1 to power it.
1200 watts on an 18 should make you go deaf in no time!
You're looking at $665.00 for the woofer and amp. Where else are you going to find ANYTHING that can compete for this sort of price?

eD FTW! Seriously, they make great subs at a great price. Amps are a little noisy for SQ but still a bargain for the price.
