why doesn't scion offer all weather floormats?

it seems toyota does for all their other cars... carpet mats suck.

I don't know - I just bought some all weather mats from Sams Club - cut the edges to fit, and they work perfectly

Perhaps they don't offer good mats because they can sell cheap mats for the same high prices.

My mats are made from Home Depot carpet runner. Unlike the stock mats, they curve up on all edges stopping dirt from getting under the mat. I think that they cost about $30, plus some sweat equity in cutting them to fit.

With the stock mats, the dirt under the mat wears the "carpet", so you might as well not have mats at all.
