They are Sportmax 001's. I found them on ebay for about $550 shipped from SG Motoring.

We just got mine done with air lift struts. Are the white and black boxes on 17's???????????

They are both on 18's.

We only used the struts and bags and brakets from the airlift kit on Teds box. Air lift doesnt make a very hig quality part when it comes to valves and other components. We used Air Ride Technologies Level Pro setup for the air managment. Super high quality components that were actually made for automotive use, not based on industrial valves. Plus you get the added bonus of having a computer controled leveling system with mechanical height sensors to keep you from shredding tires so quick. It came out nice, i just wish that ART made a shockwave strut application for the xB, then it would be 10x better.

If your talking about the air lift easy street setup, then yes, its pretty nice. Simple enough for a beginner, and pretty cost effective too. But i would stay away from their air management stuff.

If your talking about the air ride technologies level pro system, its very nice too. I personally dont know why anyone would want anything different. On my datsun truck im building im using an older ART setup, than can be easily hook up to the level pro system. I will be getting one when cash flow permits it. You will save the price of the system in tire costs in a year or 2.

For a compressor hes running a viair 400, but if it didnt come with part of a combo deal he probably would have gotten a 450 or 480, or even better an Air Zenith. We are both running 1/4 inch lines (neither of us wanted fast, just slow FBSS), but ART has an upgrade for 3/8 line. Hes running a 3 gallon tank under the rear end, and has plans to add another 3 gallon or 2 gallon tank in the near future. Im running two 2 gallon tanks, and plan to add another 5 gallons when i upgrade my compressors to 2 Air Zienth comps.

But really, its the level pro computer that makes this setup so sweet.

Sorry it took so long Randy. I spoke to the parts guy and three Toyota mechanics at three different dealerships. The upper bearing is held in my a lip on each side. If you purchase new upper strut mounts, the bearing come with them. Conversely, if you need to replace the bearing you have buy a new upper strut mount. I guess I'll keep the struts flipped and see how it works.
