Default License Plate lights replacement help

I purchased 2x T10 42W LED white lights off ebay and should be getting them in a few days. If anyone can post pics or link me to a video on how to replace the license plate lights I appreciate it very much.

A phillips head screwdriver is all it takes, just open your hatch to eye level and you will see how easy it is. There are two clear plastic housings on either side of the release button each held in by a screw, then pull it out undo the socket from the housing and replace the bulb. The plastic housing has size limits width/length. I have leds in mine and they work great.

It's when I get to taking out the bulb part as it's a bit tricky. Is there any special way of removing the bulb?

The socket twists out of the lens. the bulb pulls straight out. the LED may only work when inserted one way and not the other.... I need to go buy some new LEDs myself...

I just put some regular bulbs in mine about 15 minutes ago. My LEDs must have broke from driving around with the Garnish / hatch handle hanging loose and bouncing around for a couple days.... My packing tape wouldn't stick in our cold weather.... Also installed a new garnish hatch handle today....Ebay special; hope it lasts... The chrome looks good tho...
