To clear things up, If I ever decide to do this the only thing on the car that would still remain or I should say the only thing I would use from the Xb would be the body. Thats it. The xb will not be streetable { well in the laws eyes anyway } 
at all. I would use a big block simply because I have a blown 502 sitting in my garage. We would design a custom tube chassis.

HOLY CRAP!!! thats a huge engine. Have you put it on a dyno? I would love to know what kind of power that thing is putting out.
That would be the fastest Scion on the planet, or well fastest Scion look-alike, since you said you will just keep the body but change everything else.
