What a week. Moved from NYC to California on Sunday evening, happened to have seen a Toyota dealer in Palo Alto on Tuesday afternoon, left 2 hours later with RS 2.0 #725. My first car! 26 miles on him ("It's a boy!"). Such a strange egg! High seats, distant steering wheel, shy engine - but it's the only car I've seen that I could ever want. And now he's mine. I always rolled my eyes a bit at the new owners - but now I'm gushing like a little school girl on her first date. Now I have to drive him down to L.A. on Monday, and my move is complete. Thanks for all the info on this site, everybody - you really helped me make an important decision. (Gotta change my profile now!)

Congrats! That's pretty much how I got #453 as well, saw it on the lot and made it mine. 280 miles on it since I picked it up with 38 last Thursday. I love this car!

Woooot, another RS2 owner. Congrats, it will be one fun car!

 

I got my RS02 quite by accident too. My minivan died on a Friday on the way to work. Saturday I KNEW I had to have a new car. My co-worker had bought an xA about 6 months earlier, so I went to the Toyota dealership and drove out in #1071 3 hours later. I do love my little car and have gotten lots of compliments.

 

I found my xA online and fell in love with it at first sight. Our city has a Scion dealer, but they weren't going to get any RS's in... I knew I had to have that car, so they found one at a dealership in Alabama and sent it in to me in a few days. Now I'm the proud owner of a 2005 Scion xA RS 2.0 #116 with 1,000 miles on it now due to cruising. My very first car in MY name. Might I add congrats to all the other Scion owners, especially the RS xA owners. I'd like to find someone around my area with a Scion. So far they are slim, but we have a fixed up xB and a fixed up tC, and soon to come, my xA.

Anyways, I'm glad to be apart of Scionlife now and hope to meet some new people along the way.

Yeah, I got #8 just after a dealer trade because I wanted a manual. My jaws dropped when I noticed that it was #8 lol. That totally rocks.

 

I love the blue and the 2.0 features.
