Kevets,

Thanks!

haha yes I love parking the box... especially when both the toyota trucks are home. Tacoma V6 on one side, Tundra V8 on the other side little xB four banga in the middle

What's the safest way to take off the wheel covers? I haven't tried to really get them off since I'd put them on, but I want to do some paintin' soon... :D I'm thinking maybe black with a small white edge around the cover or maybe color-matched if there's a paint in a can that will do it

Picked up my BOP 5sp Xb sept 4 and love it! Have about 1,300 miles now and mileage seems to go up about 0.5mpg per tank, to lastest of 33.6mpg! Only option added is the IPOD stereo upgrade which was finally installed last week, it seemed to have more power than base radio.

I think this car is one of the best deals on the market! Lots more room than anything in it's price range and unique looks that set it apart from the crowd!

I gotta admit I just love driving it!

MartinB, are those 15" J10's? They look rather good, whatever they are.

Chiguy, nice ride. I've got it's twin. Nice view too.

I purchased my xB about three weeks ago, and I had no idea how much I'd like it! I've never owned a new car before, and my decision to go with the xB was strictly pragmatic. I searched for a year to find an inexpensive vehicle that can accommodate my son's height (he's 6'6") while getting over 30 mpg. We test-drove a Toyota Matrix, and while it was pretty good on leg room, my son wouldn't fit if he grows any more (he's 16).

I've never cared much about the appearance of transportation, but I was a bit hesitant about the look of The Box. It took me a week or so to warm up to it, and now I have no regrets! It handles so well, parallel parking is a cinch, and it's fun getting random waves and comments.

I started coming here before purchasing to learn more about owners' feedback and concerns. I had no intentions to modify the box, but now I see all the cool things being done and I find myself trolling ebay and classifieds for cool stuff.

I do like those wheels also. Thanks for the comment. I think for appearance I will go with 17s or 18s and tint. That will probably be it for now, just have to get going. I will probably do something with the audio also, just not sure what to do yet. I really enjoy it so far, my first brand new car in a while.

New owner here.

And I'm more or less coming from the same boat as phantastica. I walked into the dealership thinking Toyota Matrix, but due to lack of stock and higher price, I decided to test drive an xB. Of course, the interior room was stunning, but I was sold as soon as I threw it into reverse. After spending the past 5 years dealing with a massive trunk it was so comfortable to be able to see the back of my vehicle again.

Since I live in Atlantis... err I mean New Orleans, I'm planning on enhancing the utility of the vehicle. My fog lights are ready to be installed and I've ordered the bumper applique. Next on my list is probably the Zeta armrest and probably early next year I think I'll get a roof rack.

It looks exactly like Kevets', but with no rack.... yet.

My husband and I ordered mine Saturday night. It's Salsa Red, automatic, and the only extras I ordered were wheels and the different tail lights. It'll be ready most likely on Tuesday! Some people think I'm crazy for getting a box, but it's truthfully my favorite car, and I've looked at many differents cars for months before making this purchase. I always came back to the xB's, though.

I put on my rockblocker fog light and side marker protector stickers this weekend. Got yellow on the front and smoked on the side... all I gotta do now is order the yellow foglight bulbs to complete the look

a few small bubbles here and there but overall i'm happy w/ the look... not sure if i'll keep the smoked on the side since it doesn't really cover the edges well. I can probably fix that with a little paint or some kind of trim around the light.

They got my xB in earlier than expected and fixed it up and so I got it tonight! It's so beautiful! My neighbor fell in love with it when he saw it. He couldn't stop going on about it. I'm so happy with it.

I've had my XB for a little over a month now and I love it. Not the car I envisioned myself in initially but now I can't stop looking at it and thinking of things I want to do to it to get it looking just how I want it. My wife steered me towards it really more for economical reasons than anything since my last car was dead and I had no trade value, I was hesitant at first but then I really started to like it. As soon as I test drove it I knew I wanted it, roomy, great on gas, and fun to drive too. I'm 33 and this is the first new car I've ever owned in my life believe it or not and I wouldn't take anything else right now, my wife has a 2007 loaded six speed Accord with V-6 and all the toys and I actually would rather drive my car! Which is ironic since I really wanted a car like that just a couple of months ago, all I know is the XB is awesome.
