The "I got an xB and am So Excited!" Thread!
My first post -
A couple weeks back, my '89 Camry wagon w/ 250K on it decided that it was time to die... and it was going to be around $1400 to bring it back to life. Needless to say, my wife and I decided to nix that idea.
While we were at the Toyota dealership we found an '05 black cherry xB that we both liked, and decided to take it for a test drive. Loved it! However, it was really out of our available budget.
Yesterday we were out looking around and stopped at a used car dealership in Meridianville, AL. They had an '04 pewter xB in practically perfect shape for under $11,000. An hour later I was driving it home... and my wife was looking on enviously from her Pathfinder, which cost more than twice as much as a new xB. We have 3 years left on the loan for the Pathfinder, and when it's paid off we're getting her a new xB.
So... I JUST GOT MY xB AND I'M SO HAPPY!!!

I've been looking at a white xB. I now have a F150 SuperCrew which I love, but its very thursty and difficult to drive in traffic. I'll keep the truck....don't evern wanna be without a truck. I'm 6'4" and have two young girls....just need to figure out if this is a good way to go.

I just traded my 2000 Ford Focus POS in for an 06 xB that was used for 3 months. It had less than 10,000 miles on it! The Ford Fucus had 120k mi on it and the timing belt broke while driving, bending the valve stems. Too much to fix, so I went searching for a small car that would last. Saw this one and fell in love. Manual trans too!

Wow...I can't believe you gave up a Focus POS for a exBee. That special Focus POS model is hard to get and sought after by people the world over!! :D
Enjoy your new ride! I've been looking at 2004 xB's. Something that won't drink the gas like my F150 does and is easier to maneuver.

I got my 2005 xB a couple weeks ago. Im happy with it.
It was recently wrecked and had a rear clip put on. If you didn't know it was wrecked, you'd never know it was. Its got 21k miles. Paid 10k for it.
Ive got alot planned for this bad box.
I was a previous Mini Trucker but mad the switch to the Toaster.

Finnaly got mine last night, I was on the impossible mission to get a manual trans. At first I had one color in mind, no luck...then I gave him 3 colors, no luck...then I said any color, found one! Its thunder cloud, and I couldnt be happier. As soon as I left the lot, within one minute, I had a TC try to race me, and about 20 minutes later another xB tailing me through traffic. It was great and worth the wait. Now time to tinker
Ok, had to post here once. Got the new car 6 weeks ago to replace my last car that was totaled by an "inattentive driver" who turned through my car. Well, after a lot of research, I went after the car that had space, gas mileage and high standards/dollar. The xB won out for me. A test drive later (down a windy road around a lake after the freeway) I loved the car. Now it's mine, and I can't help but want to change things left and right. My wife rolls her eyes, but smiles at least.
I got mine today! I got a Salsa Red with Auto, Cruise Control, rear spoiler and 15" rims. I'll post some photos this weekend, I didn't get home from the dealership until late in the evening and it's too dark to take photos. I'm so happy I finally got one!
