The "I got an xB and am So Excited!" Thread!
Saw the 6'6" 245lb guy's post-yeah, same here 6'3" and 275-can't seem to find anything that fits as well. Everybody expects me to be driving a big truck or viper or something-I have always liked smaller, lighter, tossable cars that the cops don't watch.
Haven't modded it in a while, have some body stuff in the works but kinda ran out of power mods without doing forced induction. Still think it is so cool when I walk out to a crowded parking lot-nothing looks the same as the 1st gen....

I just picked up my "New" 2006 Salsa Red XB yesterday!
I LOVE IT!
With just over 28,000 miles on it, the baby is hardly even broken in yet!
I'll post pictures sometime soon.
My high school students saw it and thought it was cute and very fitting of their wacky theatre teacher!
I would like to put in different taillights and maybe headlights -- I'm not one for LED, but something Euro / sleak looking -- anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!
Hey guys, 05 ThunderCloud Grey , 5 speed. Here are a couple pics. First one with the black steels i rolled on for a while, then last nite scored these 17" wheels and tired on CRAIGSLIST for $120!!!! What a steal!!!

I just got an 04 xB in Denver for $6950, Black Cherry, 76k miles, 5sp mt, all stock. Was in a garage and in great shape. Now I need to figure out how to get MILES PER GAllon out of it, I drive 70+ miles a day. Looks like the mpg threads say keep it slow, find the neutral glide zones, and consider shutting down at long lights... is that rear sway bar mod/bolt on a good thing? I'm very excited to go to this from my Ford Focus that died...
I got my MetallicCloud automatic xB last year in April aftter totalling my Corolla. We picked it up from an at-home business owner who sold it to us for 10g. I am absolutely loving it!! Added a spolier, bumper applique, aftermarket center armrest/cupholder, and xenon lights. The car is simply amazing. Next job is to get some rims on it. I totally feel your pain jungoica, i have the same problem (althought i dont put as many miles on it as you do) One thing that bothers me is how much gas it drinks just driving around town. The 2004 model does not come with cruise control so the engine does run a little high and the AC sucks gas down in the SoCal heat. But overall i absolutely love it!!
