Default Almost too happy to type. 2nd Week birthday.

Well, my xB Salsa Red '06 had it's two week birthday today.

Even though the windshield has been replaced (I'm over it. I just hope this one does better. And you can't tell a difference visually between the replacement and the one that it was delivered with) and the car was given to me
with only four of the five fabric floor/cargo mats I ordered (which I've COVERED with rubber ones. I know. I know. But I want to keep them NEW for a little while!) I'm soooooooooooo happy!

I got the LED light enhancements installed today!!!! (And I got the fifth (cargo) mat). Those lights are soooooooo worth the price. (You CAN buy happiness!) I didn't know that you could make the cup holder LEDS do the "fiber optic christmas tree" dance!
I got the Amber color for under the console and under the front seats. 'Cause I have Amber in the console (after 53 years I just know that older eyes read amber or green better than other colors, and the console is supposed to be FUNCTIONAL!)

Now we have "happy feet". AMBER feet!

My daughter is surprised to find out that I like a lot of bass in my music. Mostly because for 23 years I've yelled at her to turn it down in the house.
But you have a responsibility to your neighbors that you might not necessarily have to the car next to you. My neighbors can't move. The car next to me can "move on down the road".

I also got the sports pedal covers I got Red. The parts guy suggested silver. But I didn't listen when my kids tried to talk me into the xA either.

I got a cute little "Dot it" light and stuck it "right on" the rear view mirror. Took COMPLETE care of the lack of a console switch to turn on the interior light.
I got it in silver and it looks like it was always supposed to be there. And puts out an incredible amount of light. I've been requested to get two more to put elsewhere in the car.

"Got me a "back of seat organizer" for the drivers seat that fits like a glove and a nice cargo organizer that collapses and expands to brief case size.

I'm so HAPPY!!!!!

I just got an xB yesterday, and I have to say I love it. I am catching more crap than a little (I am an ex biker) but I really don't care what people think. I haven't had this much fun with a vehicle since I sold my Harley.

I got the Black paint (of course) and left the hubcaps since I didn't like the alloys Toyota offered for it. I will be hitting the aftermarket for those pretty soon. It's a 5 speed, and I haven't really done anything to it yet.
Well, this is my first post, so hiya to all, and you will definitely be seeing me on here a lot.

There is a separate audio system user manual that came with mine. Ask you dealer about it. I actually have an extra one, because I got a new user manual for the upgraded ipod stereo I had installed. So if for some reason the dealer doesn't have one/want to give you one, you can have mine.

Thank you so much. That is so nice of you.

I have to call the dealer about something else on Monday, and will ask them. I'll let you know what they say.

I'm in Northern Virginia. Got it at a place called "AutoParts" on Chantilly Road.

It's a round disk(about 2 1/2 inches diameter. It JUST fits there on the vinyl piece above the rear view mirror. ) I got the silver because it's very discrete and looks like it was just made for the car. As a matter of fact a few people thought it DID come with the car and commented on what a nice feature it is.) But they also had a red one that matched my Salsa Red exterior, and that might have been fun.

It gives out a lot of light bright blue/white light in the front. I'm getting a second one for the back.

Uses two AA or AAA batteries. I can't remember which.

I actually read about them in a thread elsewhere on this message board.

Just picked up my 2006 BSP xB from Scion of Grand Rapids dealership here in Michigan. Dealt with Eddie Fisher. Great guy. Made this smooooth. Picked her up a week ago Saturday and can't wait til I start modding!

Tein S-Techs are in and some Katana Stage Black 18's x 7.5 are on the way!
Then a quick tint match to the stock color and then I start smoking the lenses.

Yay!

I recently bought a used xB where some mods had already been done. Now that I'm the owner, I'm gonna try to take it over the edge. Here's a few pics of what has been accomplished thus far...

ha ha. Thank you. He did some good work, and I've added to it. He did the basics now I'm trying to do the ICE and some of the more intensive stuff. Great start though. Thanks for the encouragement!

Default I got an xB and I'm so excited

Got my Salsa Red Pearl xB auto. I Love my xB I got it 3/1/06. I got the spoiler, for lights and arm rest from the dealer.

I have since installed a set of Force GR-4 wheels and Toyo Proxes tires 17". This thing is so much fun to drive and the mileage is just a big plus.

Default 2-18-06

Just got mine 2-18-06. Blue xB. But the service department @ Scion Redwood City, CA. sucked.

When trying to put in my alarm they broke the center console. I'll never be going back.

I just got my Used PW 04 xB. Nothing really in it yet except these wheels the previous owner put on

After living with Fords all my life and driving one since i was 16 I thought its time for a change. I am very happy with my purchase and very impressed on how much power it really has.

Just got my Camo Green Toaster this week and I can't stop saying I Love My Car. Your post caught my eye because of the 53 years you mention. I'm at 52 and don't care what people think!
Where did you get the lights from?

All I bought so far is a bumper sticker from eBay that says "You've just been beat by a Toaster". At first my kids wouldn't let me pick them up in it, but I think they're becoming believers.

Stay cool.

My sister in law got one and she's 62. Then I got mine last week at 63 and have put 500 back-road miles on it. What a blast to drive. It is a cheaper more functional Minicooper, with almost the same weight and engine. My wife was a little embarrased by it at first, but she's appreciating it more now.

Hi, I'm from Simi as well. I am thinking about buying a new xB, maybe not for a bit
but I am looking up how people like them. It seems people love them as far as I can tell!
