Oh, I got the lights from/installed at the dealer.

My kids refuse to be excited about them (those things make me so HAPPY). However, after about 10 years of no air conditioning in my old Escort (it quit working at about year 6) they are "all about THAT".

They also lament the collection of CD's in my visor organizer.

I picked up my 2006 Scion xB on 3-23-06. Pulled out of the parking lot with 50 miles on it. I got Polar White with- iPod accessory; arm rest; alloy wheels;
Pioneer system; tinted windows; automatic; power window/locks; alarm system; floor mats. I think i forgot something? Anyways!! I LOVE MY xB!!!!

I have a "?" what is the difference between TCM/ RS3.0/ RS2.0/ RS1.0? I read the whole thread before posting and I couldn't figure it out.

TCM = Thinder Cloud Metallic (silver), RS = Release Series, either 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0. Every year, SCION releases a new one. 2006 is the RS3.0. The 1.0 came in Hot Lava (orange), the 2.0 came in Solar Yellow, and the 3.0 came in Envy Green. Also, some other ones you might want to know...BCP = Black Cherry Pearl, BSP = Black Sand Pearl, PW = Polar White, BOP = Blue Onyx Pearl, SRP = Salsa Red Pearl, SM = Shadow Mica. Hope I helped. I didn't wait. I put 1,000 miles on mine the first week, driving on country roads. Spent the first 500 miles using 3/4 throttle not exceeding 3000 RPM or 60 mph in 5th, constantly accelerating and decelerating, not holding 3000 rpm for more than a minute. The next 500 miles was the same but not exceeding 3500 rpm or 65 mph. Used country roads so there would not be anybody behind me to be ____ed off about the speed changes. All the curves and hills were also good for using the gears and varying the RPMs. Got the break-in over with fast so now I can drive anyway I want anytime. Had I driven too slow, not the best for break in. Too fast and steady, not the best either.

Now that the engine is broken in, it will still take another 10-20K miles of wear for it to reach its prime.

 

I got mine and put 18 x 7.5" wheels with 215 35r18's on the wheels should I lower it does the wheel gap look bad.....the spedo is still correct because it is the same highth as the stock tire with a 35 tire...??????

the back is alittle more gap than normal due to parking on uneven ground.....the gap in the front is what the back looks like on flat ground

 

Nice ride Jon. Ken called me today and mine is in and I can pick it up friday. I went by and saw it today. My number was #1300 something. Now off to shop for wheels and tires. Anyone have any suggestions on tire and wheels. I like the 18's but I like the look of the 17's because they have a little more sidewall to them.

 

Just got me a Red 06 Box. GOD this thing is sweet.
I'm 6'3" and I really appreciate the SPACIOUS interior.
Got the iPod stereo, 15" wheels, and mats. Gonna upgrade the wheels later.
I'm on Cloud 9 right now!

LOL @ at peoples faces when I blow past them on the freeway (which isn't that easy to do...lol)

Well my box is in my RS3.0 is in my driveway finally. Yeah. Wheels and tires are one order. Woot!

 

Well new guy here and I just bought a new 06 xB Thunder Cloud Met. 5speed Only options from the dealer is the iPod upgrade shifter **** and cargo cover.I test drove an automatic on Sunday the 2nd went back on Monday the 3rd and ordered the manual with the options and picked it up on Tuesday. OK enough about that now the fun stuff.I love this car.It is better than I expected the motor is a revvy little thing that moves right along and gets awesome gas mileage to boot.I have ordered a Injen short ram intake and a DC muffler along with the TRD short shifter.I may be getting a header off of eBay but I am not sure yet.Wheels were ordered on Thursday and will be put on tomorrow.I will post some pics after that.

It's nothing special but its all mine.This site has been great for info on mods.

Got an '06 xB in Shadow Mica just this last Monday. Love the car, and really enjoy all of the modding tutorials and info on scionlife. Keep it up!! I'm a long time PC-tweeker, and now I find all of this info for my new car!!

And just in time for the latest gas hike too.

 

Well just got mine day after St. Patrick's Day, when a deal buying a Rt 66 PT Cruiser fell through. Just went next door to the friendly Scion Dealer and saw a beautiful RS3 tellin me "take me home PLEASE!"

Hello just found this site. I am lookin to purchase a new xB. Ive been lookin on the web and wonder where these people find the louder colors, such as green, orange and my favorite yellow? All ive seen is the basic colors. Can you tell me if theres a different engine option? All I can find is the standard 103 horsepower. Im just trying to pick the right one for me. Im in okla and havent seen that many xBs.
