The "I got an xB and am So Excited!" Thread!
Got my 2006 BOP xB just over a month ago from Ron Tonkin Toyota/Scion in Portland, OR... bought it with 1 mile on it! :D It had been dropped off from the port just before I called to see if they had any BOP on the lot. <3
Our Sales associate was Bob Burchak (I hope i spelled that right!) He was absolutley the best Associate I came accross in my hunt for the xB. I'd been eyeing them for over a year, and even had my name down for one at Vancouver Scion. But the quality of service he provided earned my business and trust.
I did not get the "suspicious eye" or the feeling that i was being ignored or not taken seriously. It took me 4 visits to Vancouver Scion before they "had some one available to show me the car", and even then i literally had about a 50 second test drive before they had me take it back to the lot.
A good friend of mine had a similar experience at Ron Tonkin with another associate, so I definatly reccomend that lot to anyone in the area looking for *THE* scion for them!

Picked up my '06 PW xB last Saturday from Beaman Toyota/Scion here in Nashville. Really diggin' it. I think some of my neighbors are diggin' it more than I am though. They say they just love seeing it roll down the street.
Purchased w/ automatic (or else my wife would never be able to drive it). Had the armrest, rear bumper protector, and floor mats added. Still kinda chuckle that armrests and floor mats are add-on's, oh well.
Have added one mod so far, a custom mount for my PSP. Now I can plug in thanks to the MP3 (Aux) jack in the center console. Wanting to add a 3 port 12 volt outlet for additional gadgets maybe tomorrow.
Ok, back to reading posts...and yes, I'm LOVIN' MY xB! Oh yea, I paid CASH for the whole darn thing... now I can spend the rest of my money on mods!

OK, here's the story...looking for another Lincoln Town Car, and didn't even know what a Scion was. Had seen Xb's a few times and thought, "What the #&@% is THAT"? I thought it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen...but also thought it must be *very* practical, being nothing more than a box on wheels. Then saw a RS 2.0 on April 20th and thought it looked really cool in yellow. An hour later got to sit in one (totally by accident) and was impressed with the headroom, legroom, and how easy it was to get in and out of. Went to a dealership a few hours later and drove an RS 3.0. Bought it outright on the 26th...three weeks ago today.
Easily the most fun car I've had besides my '55 Porsche Speedster 1500 Normal and a '66 highly modified VW bug. And, of course, way more versatile than either of them. Plus, it draws more attention than *any* car I can think of short of the real exotics. Wish I was younger and single so I could take advantage of it.

I'm going to pick mine up in Jacksonville and drive it back to Denver. He gave me a good deal so I could not pass it up. It's gonna be a fun drive back. I can't wait.
It's mainly a work car but I want to mod a few things. I am in the market for wheels, tails, and a rear spoiler. If anyone knows someone looking to sell, hit me up. I have cash in hand.
BTW, dumb question, but could someone explain all the acronyms for the colors? I am sure this questions has been asked a million times but if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. C ya guys around.

If you go to gear right above the memberlist you will find a place to buy scionlife stickers naming all the colors if you take the first letter of each word that gives you the abrev. check out wheelmax for wheels and tires and ebay for you other needs. I'm fairly new myself but you will find a wealth of knowledge on this site and alot of helpful people. Welcome!!!
Also, the Xb is the fist new car I ever had. The Merc had 185,000 miles.
Just ordered my New Scion XB Shadow Mica. Im excited for it to get here. Ive been trying to get a scion the last year and finally have the funds to get one. Im going from a 1997 Buick LeSabre. Thats right an old grandmas car to this. I am way way excited about it.
Got my 06 blue onyx xb last week, so excited, thinking about all the mods now, haha. wanted to say hi to everyone here. also, i am making this simple website, so check it out if u have time. and dont forget to give me some comments, thanks. http://geocities.com/yaosgarage/
I finally joined in! I purchased my first Scion on Friday, May 19th. It is a BCP 2005 XB with the only option being keyless entry. The car has 6100 miles on it and it plans on seeing a LOT more in the near future.
I love this thing! I'm 6'4" and a half (the half is what really gets me up there) and I've easily got 4" of headroom. I've always liked sportier cars, but could never fit in them comfortably. This rocks!
In this week, I've added the DIY filter, DIY LED cupholders and ordered a flywheel, clutch, and short shifter. It's just the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

hey all! I jus registered, but i've been an undercover scionlife member for a while now. My family purchased a 06 BOP xB about a month ago & we love the damn thing! I'm in the process of selling my 90 mustang so i can pick up a black 04 xB of my own (I'm planning on going two-tone). With our xB being a family toaster, it's impossible for me to customize it the way that I want it, but I'll have my very own Autobot soon enough. "It will be mine.........oh yes, it will be mine."
Whatup!
This is my first post...
And first NEW car... Black sand pearl, stock with the factory 7 spoke 15's ( a little sad and small i know, but hey, not wheel covers) and ipod plus bazooka tube [in the past, ive had seperate fury amps vega 12"s, but that seems to just shake the HELL outta the whole ride, plus i like the ease of removal---even thought they mounted the tube wrong (mid back instead of to the side-ugh-)]
And i feel all of you, i Grin ear to ear just lookin out the window at my new box. i've wanted one since they were debuted and i first saw them at the LA autoshow, and have been kicking myself for waiting, just wasn't sure if i would feel like a clown once i was in, but as i ended up getting jealous seeing my friends in xBs befor me, i knew i hadto have it. - plus i'da missed out on ipod integration- patience grasshopper.
i'm damn pleased now, and i love that people are jealous of a ride this affordable...
sorry for the rant, but if i lay this all out to my wife again, i'll probably sleep on the couch, i think she's done with the gushing...
btw--- sorry if you see me, im a lil douchebaggy in that i think its neato to honk at all you ***** i see! unity people!
