The xB is sqare and flat, but the Hot Wheels version is more of a chopped xB. If you can feel points or a wing, then move on to the next I guess. Buy one of the red or blue Hot Wheels off ebay and practice on it the see what it feels like lol. It looks more like a cartoon version of the vehicle.

how much did the orange one set you back if you dont mind me asking. I just remember seeing one go on ebay for a very high price.

 

not at all it was @ 30.00 it took bidding on 4 diff ones each time one came up to finally get one and almost 8 months of watching. they were handed out at store events unpackaged
now if i can only find the pink/flesh-tone one but there were not many made. given to dealers only as a prototype last time my puter froze i lost the pic i had of it.
last one i found was 100.00 on e-bay

 

You are right the orange ones usually go for about $25-40. Think I paid $70ish for my flesh colored one. Will try to get pictures up ASAP.

Why are the bodies removed?

 

The bodies are removeable. Not only is the Hot Wheels xB a "Xraycer" it is also a "Pop Off" meaning the body can be removed to expose engine, interior, and roll cage details. I have removed the roll cage from a couple of mine and painted the body.

 

I've found a grey one, target had it, gonna hit another one tomarrow, also got two more orange ones, gonna make them christmas ornaments

 

So the orange ones are common now like the red ones were? I didn't even know about the orange till now.

 

I believe jwaj2002 is talking about Matchbox, not Hot Wheels. Grey is the latest variant with green and then orange being released earlier this year.

I cant find any thing at the stores around here. They suck. It must be the holidays and people are buying up stuff to give away for presents.
