It's really odd, I work in a strip mall center type lot, me and my buds at the shop will every once in a while be looking out the front window for whatever reason.

A few times we've seen middle aged ladies and men walking around my xB looking at the interior and stuff for a good fives minutes or so.
Also, I notice whenever I make left hand turns and I'm in front of the line in the middle of intersection and there's a car on the opposite side making a left too, if there's more than one person in that car
they are always pointing and talking to each other and got smiles on their faces....haha if their laughing at it or admiring it either way its a great feeling to get all that attention.

Another instance, I was in like a parking lot that was at a park and my car was only one there out of a van or something in this huge parking lot, and all these people were sitting at the picnic tables,
when I walked to my car and drove off, every single one of their heads was following my car out with their eyes! IT WAS CRAZY lol....

But the attention I get with an xB and its only a 15k car, ud think I was pulling up in a Ferrari or something by the the number of heads that turn when ur around. HAHA gotta love it

Actually I'm on of the first people to get a TC. You must be pretty dumb to think someone who doesn't own a scion is in a scion car club. I'm not ragging on scion's cuz the XA are unique and actually look nice. On the other hand an XB looks like a porto-potty with some wheels thrown on it. Very nice concept for a car huh ? And I agree a TC isn't too unique, but I rather have a car similar to the majority like a civic than an Aztek or XB that stick out like a sore thumb. Why would I want to be that 1 idiot who has that ugly ___ car ? If i really wanted to save my money on the car itself, gas, and still have a reliable car I would get an Echo which even tho is ugly as hell, still is faster than ur XB, more gas efficient, and looks alot nicer...

 

Note to self: never, EVER, drive in So Cal.

My experience is that 75 and 635 are generally worse than 35E, and although I don't drive on either one very much I drive on 35E most every day.

I've had many near-life experiences on 35E...

You're obviously not a fan of the scion xb which is why you don't like them. Not a problem but the way you feel about the xb, I feel about the TC and the xA. Go figure, huh?

Actually, drove the xB to Jacksonville with the family [my wife and two 6' sons]. At a gas station on the way, a blue xB pulled up into the next slot. I bellowed out at the owner, "That's one ugly-a$$ car!". I guess my standing next to mine mitigated the impact of this statement a bit.

Ugly duck can probably back me up on this. Omaha is hick town Truck City USA. it's not cool when I pull up behind someone, and I'm looking at the underside of their bumper It scares me a little.

Yea I got people laughing sometimes. Not very often. usually just point, smile, wave. If there's someone behind me pointing, that's when i turn on the Scion fist, and let it wave. That gets tons of laughs!

Kids seem to like it the most. I drive by 2 Elem. schools on my way home from golf, and to see the kids line up at the fence just to watch me go by is kinda cool. sometimes i give them a rev and they get all giddy, but sometimes not

My family personally has an Aztek and my xB.... hands down the xB gets more looks. I'm sorry if I don't want to be a cookie cutter car that everyone has. I though the Scion brand in general was about the individuality.

Either way.. I love mine... if you don't... go s_k one

yeah... they are laughable... i cant help laughing at my bf's sometimes... its jus so cute and "boxy"

 

Its that unique look that most misunderstand that drew me to the xB, let them mock but also watch as other manufacturers try to catch up on the small outside big inside craze. Ford and Nissan are already making clones.

I get all kinds of looks. I catch people pulling up next to my rear window and looking. I get the WTF looks. I get the people in the next car at the stop light trying to race me. It's ok. I just laugh at people's reaction to my car. My wife, my brother, my co-workers, and friends that say that my xB fits me and my personality. The ladies say it's cute and they like how I look in it :D so it balances out. I am happy everyday that I drive my xB. I crank up the music and just cruise. I laugh when I am at the gas pumps and notice SUV's gassing up. I just step out to the gas pump with a big grin on my face, speak and bask in the glory of one of the many benefits of being an xB owner.
