Default How to wire Sub and Amp

If someone could please give me a diagram of how I need to wire my sub and amp up that would be great. The Amp is a Alpine M500 which is a 300watt at 4 ohms and 500watt at 2ohms rms. The subwoofer is the Alpine SWR-1043D which is a dual coil 4ohm 300-600 watt rms. I would really like wire the sub to 2 ohm since I can feed the higher power rating. Any help would be great.

Side note.

Do you think I will have any heat issues putting the amp in the storage area in the back above the spare?

I would mount two fans in the cargo cover, one pulling air, the other blowing it out. Get the quietest fans you can find (high fan rpms are noisy). Cover them with a metal grill so they won't get damaged. To power them, run a relay from the turn-on wire to the amp and get the main power from the amp's 12v power cable.
