Dashboard Rattle?
I knew i saw a post about this somewhere. The same thing started happening to my car! It's only a month old. I first though it was something in my glove box but i emptied it and it stilled continued. It was more like a metal tapping on glass sound that repeated every couple seconds which was driving me crazy!
I'll try out that lube thing tomorrow if i have time.

I am taking my car in next Tuesday to get my NF210's installed, but I also brought up the squeaking and loud pop I get in the dash area. Hopefully they can recreate the sound...
We shall see how it goes.

Be careful with the dash, I used to work at an Acura dealership, and most owners found that once the dash had been removed it ended up creating more creaking noise problems than it solved. If you let them mess with it, accept nothing but complete satisfaction.
I don't know how much worse it can get, honestly. But I have faith in my dealership... Very clean, professional, and the facility is wonderful. They get awards every year for being one of the best service departments in the area. Nothing but great work from there, so far.
We will hope for the best!

Car goes in tomorrow, and of course it will be like 60 degrees tomorrow, so my car won't be making all the noise I told them about. I will just postpone them doing any of that until its cold again, but before I hit my 36k miles...
By noon tomorrow, my springs will be fully installed! yay

Since the temperature in SE Wisconsin has climbed above 30 degrees lately, my XB2 is nice and quiet. I think the rattling when it was cold was the plastic under the wipers (the cowl or whatever) getting stiff and since it is just held in by two clips, it started knocking around. I don't mind that kind of issue, since I know now that it will only happen when it gets really cold. So, no dealership for me.
I took my car in for my spring install and pointed them out my cowl not being flush on the passenger side. They ordered a new one in to be installed next week. They looked at it and said it was warped so its being replaced. No clue why it warped. Picture of what I mean:
Had my cowl replaced. Fits perfectly now! I also have not had my squeaky noises since it's replacement from the front passenger windshield. It could be that weather has been a *tad* warmer here lately, but still, no noises so far!
