the axleback part fits fine. its the one that's between the axle back and the scuba tank. it hangs down waaay too low. i'll snap some pics for it but i really wanna know if this is the same for the other people who has this exhaust.

you can see on this pic how close the piping is to that underbrace bar. its ok when u drive for a bit but once the exhuast gets hot and the hanger gets softer, it starts to rattle like ****

hmmm...remedy could be:

to somehow shorten the rubber piece on the hanger

put a dent in the pipe there so that it doesnt rattle...

line affected area with something soft? that wouldnt catch on fire :p

____...

oh you could get some 'steel strap' and wrap it around and help pull it up by attaching it to that visible heat shield screw in pic 1....

Im not having this issue. I had a bad rattle with my stock exhaust that I couldn't figure out if my life depended on it, but when I took her in for my oil change the dealership knew exactly what it was. To this day, I couldn't figure it out, but its back again and its nothing like your suggesting.

i have some super stiff exhaust hangers on the way. hopefully they'll work.

Oh yea, is anyone running this exhaust with a header?

I would suggest against it as these motors sound somewhat raspy and loud when headers are installed. My $.02.

Its so funny i was looking at this for a solution on the scuba tank removal, got to love Scionlife.com. Here is my current set up

Weapon-r headers > weapon-R s-pipe > Stock Scuba Tank > Stock Extension > Axle back TRD Exhaust.

I think this will sound awesome; barley any rap now. I tried emailing the seller on ebay to see if they would only sell everything but the axle back exhaust...No was the answer. so i will be purchasing this. Which is really not bad a custom job from a muffler shop is almost the same. so the pipe is really 2.5?

If Anyone has a set up similar to mine and have thrown in this mid section replacement, any input would be really helpful!

Anyone want to buy the TRD knock off axle back exhaust?

It may or may not work.

I haven't heard of anyone trying that type of setup. I am thinking about putting my stock axle back system on because the tip of the eBay exhaust does stick out more than my liking. But thats in the future, it doesn't bother me that much.

Im not sure what stock exhaust xB's are running, but I am pretty sure I gained some power from this setup when I went to the track. I ended up running a 16.153 @ 84MPH.

Unfortunately, I didn't. I ran it down an 1/8th mile, but I can't remember where the time slips are. Its hard to compare them anyways because the 1/8th mile is so much quicker.

I feel like I should be getting some gratuity from promoting this exhaust, ahaha.

How do you think I feel after helping Tanabe sell over $10,000 in NF210 springs for the xB2?

I love their product, but they haven't even had the decency to respond to either an email or a PM I sent them.
