why?

 

Main reason was because it rattled/vibrated against the bottom edge of the bumper screwing up the paint a little bit. The sound the vibrating made was also really annoying at stop signs and red lights. Other than that I just wanted a change and to be quieter.

 

Shoulda just brought it to a shop n had em heat n bend it away from the bumper...

 

Thought about that, didn't want to.

 

I took it to a shop today and thats excactly what he did!!!! no s-pipe needed. just bent the hangars and problem solved.

can anybody else post up another video of the exhaust sound? so the consensus now is that there is some drone?

did anybody notice a MPG increase? I could care less about the HP increase if any, I'm just trying to squeeze every last MPG out of this box.

 

heeyyy if u want a new video i will make one in the morning. i honestly love it. if you mean by drone do u hear it when the stereo is off cruising at 70? yea. but its awesome. combined with a intake and header its a great sound.

Just curious how loud this is with a header? I'm considering going I/H/E...but with this exhaust there would be NO cats...which is usually horribly loud. I would probably leave the scuba on...
