Default Snow 1 Xb 0 aka I hate this car

so I go to make a turn in the parking lot and tap some of the snow on the side of the parking lot. This was my view on the way into the office

less then one MPH as I was turning the car to pull into a parking spot
I can assure you that there was no fast driving nore was the snow... rock hard packed yes rock hard and/or ice no.
It might be an aftermarket bumper (but as far as I know it's not) due to the repairs after the crash for last year

But still this car is at the very least cursed but I still say toyota quilty is way way way down

Bummer... Not sure how that is a Toyota quality issue. You hit something with the bumper and it cracked.

yes I hit something snow!!!! sorry but I can understand the paint cracking or even being scuffed, however the bumper failing like this points to cutting corners IE thinner plastic.

Ten years ago with a 1998 Toyota Camry I slid into a snowbank and hedges with temperatures in the teens and all I had to do was push the bumper back out . I had some scratches in the paint from the hedges but all in all a new bumper cover was not required.

On this car it's 200.00 for parts and 150.00 for paint

I just drove on christmas two hours away, and I personally know that can not happen to your car in the snow. It snowed over a foot here and I drove in it all the way for two hours. I am also lowered on tanabes df210's. So you was going faster than you said. I did 60 MPH and didnt get a scratch in the snow.

You sure it wasn't a high curb?

By the looks of the damage, you hit something solid that was hidden by the snow. The scratches in the plastic show an impact and scrape.

Yup, looks like you hit someone else's "ice booger", that ice chunk behind the tire attached to the fender. Surprised you didn't hear it? But if it's cold enough, these plastic bumpers can crack faster than a plastic beer cup.

Put some duct to that hole before that bumper shield fills up with ice and snow.
