Default SNS Maintenance Screen

Does anyone use this? I thought it came, pre-programmed with your maintenance schedule in it. Apparently that's not true? The only way to get value out of this is to spend a bunch of time inputting all this crap in yourself, or am I misunderstanding how this works?

Umm i might sound stupid but what are you talking about, SNS? if your talking about like it telling you wehen to get an oil change and stuff, it does at 5,000 miles your maintance req. light turns on and stays on for a little while right when you start the car. If you are talking about something totally differnt just ignore me. hehe

He is talking about the Scion Navigation System. It has a screen where you can input maitenance intervals for all sorts of things - not just the oil.

I personally have not used it, and from the best I can tell, you do have to manually set up all of the maintenance intervals. With as much as the SNS costs, you would think that would be part of the included purchase/installation cost.

I'll get around to doing it one of these days. I guess the nice thing is, once you input all of the intervals, you don't have to ever do it again.

Dan.
