Any tips for removing the xD oil filter housing?
I have the right tool, from Toyota.
I have a belt wrench or whatever it's called that I've used with no success.
Evidently a Norse God tightened this thing or it's just a foolish design. I'm thinking the latter with what I've seen from searching. Only Toyota's done oil changes on this up until now (Warranty exp 8/1).
The filter housing has some wear from people having to muscle it off and the filter housing giving way.
I've searched, and there doesn't seem to be much hope on this front other than breaking the stupid thing and shelling out for a new one.
So, any suggestions on something to try before I give up?
Any suggestions on the best way to break it and get it off?

Yep, I'll have one for the next oil change. Getting the vehicle on the road was a bigger thing currently. You can pick them up on

I wish I could find a metal one like you can find for the Tundra.
