It was on a track but recorded with a G-Tech.

I don't remember the 60FT time tough.

What I remember is that I was pulling low 16's consistently with poor 60ft times until I disable the Traction Control. It was until then that I was able to improve the 60-ft times and lower my total time to 15.85

It's been a while. I have to go to the track again. Summer is starting down here and I just received a new set rubber (azenis 615) so I will be having some fun soon!

The Xd has a button to disable the traction control-we know because we have to disarm it during dyno testing. BTW-The Xd has recorded just over 40 mpg (US) on my many trips to and from So Cal-Vegas. Set cruise at 70 mph and I consitently see high 30s and low 40s-pretty impressive considering the many steep grades (1 is 17-miles long).

The button on the Xd is on center console between the shofter and e-brake. Mine has 4-holes for switches but the only one there is the tract control.

$699 for mani, $600? for header/midpipe, and whatever intake you want, anywhere from $25 to $250. installation of all of these parts should only be as difficult as how hard the bolts are to undo.

I'm assuming the real question is would I install the parts for free if they were purchased together? My guess is that the next question is since we were there, why not dyno it as well? Am I getting close?

No ill was intended-just having some fun. Actually installation of the intake and header is pretty easy-but having a lift is definitely beneficial-we didn't need any air tools (which we did for the u-pulley on the yaris).

No worries. I will be testing the FIC on the Xd shortly and will post results of tuning or effectivess of FIC. Haven't though of package deal-maybe free shipping or somethign like that-I will give it some thought. See-more great ideas from the forum.

If we could get a FIC to work properly on a NA set up... it would be a step forward for some of us that have Force Induction dreams...

The tuning problems is what had stopped me from even thinking going forward with this idea.

I guess nobody has really put some serious effort (tuning wise) on these cars on the US.

I know it can be done...

There are tons of Turbo Yaris on Indonesia running with no problems! Those guys use the Zage kit (Chinese bolt on turbo kit) and tune it using a UNICHIP Q+ with a turbo module.

If we could only have this figured out to work with an inexpensive Piggyback such as the FIC, it would probably open a hole new world of opportunities...

After some more discussion with my budy at AEM, I realize that the FIC will only retard timing and as such won't be useful on NA applications. We are working on another product that may help the NA crowd.. I'll keep you posted as soon as I have more info. Just sitting here in Vegas watching the snow fall.

I guess I just need to get actual vehicles to test them on. I will definitely send Castrex one for fitment on the Yaris TS and we know it will fit Xd. I am looking at a Matrix today. Can I get some feedback on a stock replacement header. We can make a better one that will offer slightlky more power but be a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory ex man. Any interest in this guys?
Did you get a chance to look at the Matrix?

I got this response today from fellow forum member who works on the parts dept on a Toyota dealer:

All 2ZR-FE show the same exhaust manifold.

09 Corolla, 09 Matrix, 08+ xD

They started in the factory with 1 type, but the replacement part number supercedes into the same one, which is 17141-0T040
