Shop called me and said they fixed the mirror, the weather stripping, readjusted the headlamp+bumper and they're going to take it to a local dealer to have them check out the issues beneath the hood. Might get it back next week.. :?

Default 3rd time ouch!

Since I have had my XD it has been an accident magnet. First a major door gouge about an inch square. A few months later a Durango backed into me and killed my bumper, she almost drove off. At least $1300 damage.
Then I hit a javelina, $500 there.

And today at the same Frys grocery store but in another lot some woman in a 03 Honda Odessey backed into me while I was backing out. I was almost completely out too. What is it with these people with big vehicles. They never look. The damage is worse this time and only miniscle damage to hers. You know they are bad news when they offer to have their cousin fix it, been there the first time. I had to threaten the lady the first accident to even get her to report it.
So frustrating.

The people with the larger cars think that you will let them pass first since they're bigger and almost always in the wrong. I really hate people who think like that.

That's awful that the first woman almost drove off. People who do that ____ me off too. Grr.

I hear ya Desertritz!

I totaled my first xD because a Chevy longbed cut me off and slammed on the brakes. Then a guy with a Jag backed into me in my work parking lot and cracked my back bumper.

Agree with you too, Chels!
I was actually on my way home from the gym last night and this Lexus suv was in the fast lane behind a Winnebago and I was in the middle lane with my cruise at 70. The Lexus started to get over when I was next to him. Good thing I was watching. I laid on my horn and slammed on the brakes.

Scared the ____ outta him because he jerked back into his lane, but I had already hit the brakes so he got over anyway. Morons. All you have to do is turn your head and look.

I have stopped caring, I used to be all honk honk when a moron would start changin lanes into me, now I just hit the brakes, when they make it in the lane and see my car within inches of theirs is when they feel like idiots...

I have also started a new tactic when SUV's wont let me into their lane... I cut the wheel really hard so they get scared and slam on the brakes, then I merge in very calmly... it has worked every time... hahahahhahaahhahahaha

Haha nice! ^^

I actually WANT someone to get over and clip my back bumper. It's already got a crack in it from the idiotic Jag driver (parking lot, shared responsibility ) so someone else can pay for a new one!

Me too, had to deal with one of them this morning hopefully its mostly cosmetic, will know more once the adjuster and the body shop get hold of it.

Then

Still have a scratchy sound that becomes slightly louder when I lean down towards the speaker in the drivers door. Thinking that it might be wires from the speaker causing it, or something with the speaker not being put back properly.

$6500 for damages, then $300 for the vinyl to be put on. Thank goodness I'm not paying a dime.

Ok... this body shop is HORRIBLE. I just found out they broke the tab on my wiper blade on the passenger side. I can see glue where they tried to glue the hook back on to the body.
