Maintenance
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2009 Scion xd that's been great to me. I bought it new, and it's been my commuter car, racking up 115k on the odometer. I handle all the maintenance on the car, and besides routine oil changes, air filter and checks, I've only had to replace the water pump at around 100k, and 1 set of front brake pads so far.
I may be taking the car on an 1800 mile round trip shortly. What preventative maintenance should I do? I'm thinking spark plugs and a fuel filter....What Else?
Thanks!

If it's an auto, check the AT fluid, if it's a manual, it's a fully enclosed system so you can't really check levels or color. cleaning your MAF sensor wouldn't hurt, of course make sure tires have good tread, properly inflated. get two bottles of STP, dump one in before you fill up to leave and the other on your way back to help clean any junk out of your car
There might be something in the service manual, but my mechanic lets me do all of my own work so I try and squeeze out what I can from him. At 115k, I would at least check it, and if it's pretty dirty then swap it, I don't think they're too expensive. I'm only at about 60k on my xD, so I haven't had anything major thus far
