Just did the anti fouler mod in anticipation of my Megan Header that I am putting on tomorrow. I used three antifoulers (2 of the bigger ones sandwiching the smaller one) Fits great, and this guide was super helpful! One edit for the guide: You can unplug the sensor, which makes it easier to screw in. Its easier because the wire won't get wound up when you screw it in. Now, hopefully it works... Thanks!

Default bracket bolt torque spec?

I have the AW header and noticed that only one of the stock header brackets will fit on the AW. Is it ok just to have it installed on one side (probably better than not having any brackets at all)?
I also want to know what the torque spec is for the header bracket BOLT which goes into the engine?
Thanks

Does anyone know best Header for '07, auto, with TRD CAI & Catback? 1-5, (1 being quiet-5 being LOUD)? I work nights so that's another concern. I don't care about other people but I do care for my retirees neigbors. They offered me cup of coffee one Sunday morning when I was changing my spare tire and of course they kept me company LOL

Has anyone ever had serious problems with Emissions? I think Wisconsin's first time Emissions on new car they check fuel cap pressure, that's it.

I have car handy cousin who wants to do installation. Everytime I see him "When do I get to install the header?"

Correct anti fouler goes onthe spipe.........if you put it onthe header you will end up gettign improper air/fuel readings and the car willnot run long before going boom.

This setup should work on any header setup. Me and my friends have this setup and we have strup, dme, alphawerks, mmw's, etc, and no CEL.

Back on topic, how do the sensors unplug? I've switched to header and back, antifoulers to stock, and so forth a few times figuring out what works for me, yet I've never unplugged the sensors. Is it a straight out pull or do you insert a screwdriver into the slot? My wires are all twisted from the last install.

good writeup, had a lot of trouble with the last bolt by the alternator. but i took off all the other bolts and just sorta kept moving the header, eventually it loosened up the bolt and i was able to take it off even though it was rounded

for those who has a hard time with the 02 sensor all you have two do is unplug if for the socket on the side of the engine so this was you can pull out the whole header then take a big wrench with the circle side with some wd-40 and a hammerand tap it a few times couterclick wise and ill come loose and come out....im seeiing people braking there backs doing it iwhile the its attached to the car..unplug it take the whole thing out bring it some where..where you have room to space to wrok with take a few mins thats it...or just unlung it then work with it on the car

Yeah, O2 sensor is easy unplug. A nice, ridged tab for you to press on while you pull out. Denso is good at that. That bolt by the alternator is a chore but doable.

does anyone know exactly what the o2 sensor is sensing and exactly how it works? i hear a lot of people talking about flow speed and amount of exaust, ect. i have also read that its supposed to sense a constantly changing mixture from lean to rich, 0.2 volts - 0.7/8 volts. ive read about simulators that simulate the same wave pattern (0.2 - 0.7v) for the ECU that the sensor is supposed to detect. does anyone know exactly how the sensor works? btw i have DC headers and anti foul for the past 6 months, ive reset my ECU about 50 times, and the CEL always comes on from 20-300 miles later, at random. i recently bought a simulator and that doesnt work either. ive covered my hole in the exhaust and mounted my sensor outside in the air, and removed my sensor completely. nothing works. my ecu is psychic. it knows... lol

Did you drill through both antifoulers or just one?

It's a regular ol' downstream O2 sensor, so no surprises there.
