Default Testing out subfolder system in tC area

Hey guys, I spent the last 1.5 hours updating the forums so we can use subfolders. I have instituted the new layout in the tC area. There are still a couple small things I need to fix, but let me know if you have any problems with the new system.

Not anything to fly off the handle about though

Yeah, the mod took me longer than I planned, so I didn't have time to take care of the cosmetic issues.... I will be cleaning it up a little bit. i just want to make sure that nothing haywire is happening with the new setup!

i have to scroll past all the subcategories part and that is annoying as all hell. pleasae just leave the site be. every "upgrade" you've made lately seems to be a downgrade.

say all you want to see is the tc owners lounge., you click that and then when u go there all the tc's subfolders are up top meaning you need to scroll more just to read teh general tc posts.

the same this is happening in xa/xb it's stupid. man .

CALM DOWN. I am simply asking that they FUNCTION is working.... I can tweak the layout to make it easier to use, I just want to make sure that there aren't any errors, etc.

I will make it so that it takes less of the screen to display the subforums, but before I start tweaking with it I want to make sure it is working right.

Hehe... OK.

This site is constantly changing, most of the time it is for the better. Sometimes I make mistakes and have to correct them.

I feel that dividing the xA/xB areas a long time ago was not really beneficial to the owners of the cars. A few people were more worried about their pride than the sharing of information, and that prompted them to cry out for exclusive areas for all aspects of their vehicle.

Time will tell if this solution is the right one, if it isn't then the site will evolve again, and again, and again...

suggestion....
would recommend to push up tC xB/xA above the General Area
To me new people want to go ahead and check out tC xB xA area first

General should also be reorganized

Hmmm.... well, I moved the general area below the cars... so part of your request was honored.

One of my next two projects is the REAL classifieds system with feedback. That will eliminate three of those general forum areas that are currently being used for commerce. For now I am going to leave them ordered the way they are.

Off-topic goes on top because it is the most used of them all, Sponsored Sales and Classifieds are the second most used -- and the feedback forum needs to be near them. The rest follow in alphabetical order.

News and Press, and Contests, are found on the front page of the site in their own areas, so it isn't as necessary to give them prime space in the forums. And I feel Website Discussion should be last anyway.

OK, but the subject of this thread is the functionality of the subforums... so without reports of any errors I am closing this topic.
