Jesus Christ died for everyones sins on the cross.

God became a loving god because of Jesus' sacrifice in all humanities place and the example he set for the world.

Actually there is no such thing as truth in any form.

Anything written is based on a series of words that have been agreed on by a majority and a consensus-a word will never actually give the whole meaning to any event, feeling, tangilble representation or experience.

Even pointing to someone and saying did you hear, see, smell, taste or feel that even as they stand there with you is not a truth because their body and senses are based on their perception both through their education, previous experiences and the natural flaws and benefits in their physical make-up and it's differences to yours.

Anytime anyone comes to an agreement it is based soleley on their opinions given the best description by the use and accuracy of their words on what they are trying to convey.

A fact is only considered a fact until there is one thing that can be frequently agreed on that proves through that agreement that the fact is no longer valid and stands against all tests to be applied.

This stands as evidence (not a fact or the truth) whether we talk about what caused the molten metal, the existance of god and christianity, the color blue or whether something tasted good or not (etc)

Debunking anything merely takes acceptance to the possibility that not all is known and that there could be a different appraoch and finality to what has prviously been accepted

 

Thats the understatemnt of the year! I guess your definition of good includes killing girls who are not virgins on their wedding night, killing those who worship other gods or killing those who work on the Sabbath:

Im done here. You obviously have no desire to look at things that dont fit into the mold of what you call "truth".

 

He died for everyones sins whether you care to take advantage of that or not. Ultimately that was the point where mankind was redeemed in the Lord's eyes and why God's attitude changes in the New Testament.



I'm not living under a rock. The truth is that a few airplanes caused a couple of buildings to fall down. There were no explosives and no government conspiracy's. That's a fact. People with any intelligence have accepted that and moved on in life due to there being no evidence to the contrary that hasn't been given a rational, logical explanation.

I really hate to use saying to illustrate a point, but I think, at least for the 9/11 portion, they hold true.

As for the temperature of jet fuel, you can look at another tragedy for evidence. The USS Forrestal fires reduced fueled aircraft to piles of slag, even in areas where ordinance was not present. Jet A (commercial jet fuel), in the presence of an oxidizer, such as what is used in aviation life support systems and organic compounds, when in a thermally insulating environment such as a concrete structure, can reach a temperature to melt steel rather easily.

I'll keep my thoughts on religion to myself since to date is has not been possible to prove or disprove the existance of God, or any god. I will only remark that all of the religious texts were written with the hands of man, and man is not infallable.

 

As far as religion I keep the same stance. I figure the best solution comes in the parables found throughout the reading.

Basically treat people how you would like to be treated, treat everyone as your neighbor and love them, do the right things (you should know in your heart what they are-don't let your lusts or desires get the better of you)-etc.

Keeping the sabbath day as a no work day-even Jesus worked on the sabbath when it came down to the life of man and he stood his ground and said what would be the bigger sin.

I believe all people should have one day a week that they don't plan too work just because of the stress and worry of everyday life and how it will shorten yours-it all boils down to common sense and not being overly selfish.


As far as 911-I thing there was conspiracy only in the fact that Bush knew before hand and did nothing to stop it because he wanted a war-I don't believe there was any US planning involved

Golden rule, gotta love it. I never understood the guilt / reward aspect of morality. It just reminds me of Santa, be good and you'll get a present (go to heaven) but do bad and get coal because he's always watching, it's just kind of creepy.

What happened to being decent for decency's sake, and doing the right thing simply because you know it is the right thing to do, no reward needed.

There are actually about 600 rules in the Bible. Most of them kinda run along the same lines but some are really cool. For instance, for farming there was a rule that you had to leave a small amount of your field available in case a poor, hungry person needs to eat.

Thanks for the props, I actually have a philosophy/logic/pre-law degree yet I do believe in the ways of Buddhism and I have a distinct idea that a being (whether called by the name God, Jehovah, etc) exists.

But as quoted in the movie Bedazzled "a pulitzer prize and $2.75 will get you a latte"

I firmly believe that what you choose to believe and what you see for you in your mind and heart with a truth as opposed to a desire is where you will find you-that is when things start to go right.

Have a bleak outlook, you see a bleak world. Look for a conspiracy and you will find the conspiracy and the ways to prove it. Look for innocence and chaos along with mishaps and you will see accidents and the flaws of humanity and the ways of nature. Look for a better and bigger plan outside of you and the pain and resistance you see is a place for you to become better, stronger and more able to enjoy the good parts in your life (darkest before the dawn, clouds with silver linings, etc)

(look for grammatical errors and spelling issues, you will find those too)

 

Everyone saw the truth that day. There is no evidence of explosives or any other conspiracy. As a matter of fact, the conspiracy isn't even the same from person to person.

 

I finally made it through the whole movie this weekend-yes, I firmly believe that the government is corrupt and I have heard a lot of this in bits and peiece before but this is the first time I have seen it so well collected and analyzed.

I completely believe that the US government had a lot to do with 911, exactly who and what-I don't think that will ever be completely known-it sill isn't clear even from WW1, almost 100 years later.

The things I noticed about the first 40 minutes dealing with Jesus, Horus, etc-they all are the sun of god (maybe god runs in cycles because man cannot retain an example for all of time-like a refresher with each sun/son of god which would make them all viable for their time)

I also noticed there was no comparison with Budha-so that would be a different approach in addition to Jesus for our days.

No matter what you believe about astrology, god, jesus, horus, etc that fact is we didn't just spring from no where and we don't go to no where-there is energy that cannot be created or destoyed and that had to start somewhere at sometime or it just was and will be forever and that would be GOD-no matter what language, sign, etc we give it to establish our relationship with it and yes we were created in his image, just like the trees, grass, bugs, etc as we are all offspring of the same creative force.

Believe in good you bring good, you live good and you have good.

Believe in bad, dark, evil and you will have that.

Research their claims with someone that is educated on the subjects before forming an opinion. The people presenting these movies have all been discredited. None of them are experts in any field of any kind.

 

Actually you misread what I was saying-context baby!

The top is about the conspiracies. I have always found odd bits of information that more than suggest the government had something to dow ith the 911 situation.

The comment on the bottom has to do with the spiritual aspect of life-I believe you draw your life and the energy that comes with it to you.

I personally found the movies blending of these two completely different ideas of conspiracy into one movie as a bit juvenille and ill planned.

I do however think it's funny that you didn't read in the context I wrote and ended up with your own opinions to prove your ideas and try to exalt yourself as the one who has the upper hand in this situation.

It's funny because anything to do with prove or words requires belief, just like building on sand.

For any math to be accepted you fist have to accept, agree on and use the terms of numbers, functions and definitions and have them match the other person you are working with. 2+2=4 (this is not actually a fact, is a commonly agreed on supposition)

For you, or I , to have any valid point we first have to agree on what we mean-that does not make it a fact, merely a basis (of sand) on which to build our glass house.

I always found the inabilities of the US at that time to be a bit off. No guard planes in that populated of an area? The way the buildings just fell (Pancake style) isn't consistent with what happens when an object hits something at an angle. The way that Bin Laden couldn't be found.

The parts that I guess helped as far as the movie was the central banking, I always had questions about that-it never seemed like a good idea. The way the pillars looked at the end of 911 and the way the buildings fell. The 7th tower. The fact no fighter planes were in the area.

The parts about Bushes and Bin Ladens I never knew about. The part about the vietnam war and the PT boats was new to me-haven't checked into it yet much either. I had heard about the pearl harbor attack but didn't know about the trading, etc with china and england and the angst against japan from it.

I have long been informed about the IRS and the fact it is not lawful but then I still wonder-how can people (like Wesley Snipes) be sent to jail for tax evasion? With his backing and ability to hire a good attorney wouldn't that fact be easily found and exploited or is there conspiracy behind the scenes as far as that goes too?

 

What would the "guard" planes have done exactly? There is nothing they could have done even if they had been available. The way the buildings fell is absolutely consistent with the damage that it took and the structure of the building.
