I think my fear is that I don't want to be mistaken for paparazzi... If I want to go out and do street photography for my own leisure, I think when people see someone walking around the street with a camera and big lens, they assume the person is paparazzi.. ugh...

That or strangers on the street seem to be intimidated by photographers with huge cameras and they avoid any close proximity around you..

but then I suppose I can understand since everytime I see someone with a camera I duck them and don't want to be in their photo haha.

usually people don't mind. They don't think of u a paparazzi unless ur all up in somebody's face and following them even when u can see they are trying to get away. ha ha

Usually i take photos as I want and if I am close enough that the person knows I am taking the photo of them then I'll raise the camera towards them as a gesture of "may I?"

With street performers or shelter challenged people it is easy, just give them a tip and they are more than happy to oblige.

 

No worries, I wasn't offended. And if you're man enough to apologize then you're ok in my book.

Lol you may have to wait until tomorrow to see some D90 photos. It's almost 9 and I haven't left yet.

going through photos... did i ever show you guys the beach babe in spain? i take mostly candids of families but searching the viewfinder and spotting her getting up and heading down to the water... i had to. felt dirty afterward. jk. i don't think there is anything degrading about the photo.

can you blame me? lol
