Alright so I got my 50D in on Friday...and now I'm looking to get a new lens. I have an 11-18mm SP Tamron, and a 70-300mm Tamron macro. I've noticed that almost every single picture I take with the 70-300 is a bit blurry for some reason...is it because it's a macro lens and I'm taking "normal" pictures with it?

Also, what would be a good lens to add to the set-up? Keeping in mind I'm going to be doing some weddings later this summer and have been shooting a lot at different events lately (shots of people, not cars, unfortunately). So I need a good "people picture" lens.

Awesome portrait lens....Canon 50 1.8 II, amazing price as well.

 

Sample images (stating what lens is being used) is a serious help as well!

Lol thanks but not yet. There's a few things I want to get better at before I consider selling my work. I do have a wedding I'm shooting next summer and hopefully by then I'll be ready.
