Few pictures from the flyers game last week. I found it a difficult environment to shoot in, so the pictures weren't that great.

was the official photographer for a drift event this weekend.. i tried to do them justice but the sun was pretty unforgiving in the morning when the good drifters were out.. i tried guys.. i tried..

24-120... i like the colors it was getting.. plus the VR was nice.. we were getting like 65mph winds constantly..

any more comments? im doing this again in two weeks.. hoping the sun is a little more cooperative

 

try and be a little closer maybe?

also, since I assume that you are panning, make sure that you follow through with the photos (but you already probably know this).

Also, what lens filter are you using?

 

lens filter... thats what i needed.. i have a polarizer but only 52mm.. the 24-120 is 67 i think.. and ill try to get closer and i did follow through on most shots.. its hard to pan at 120mm any closer than i was but definitely need a filter..

 

you can pan at any mm. i shoot with my 55-250 for drifting and what not and usually keep it around 200 when i pan. i just shoot in burst and hope for the best

i meant difficult for me.. i dont move as fast as id like.. it was easier for me to be a little bit further but zoomed in more..

 

try panning at 200mm shooting RC cars. feels like your head gonna fall off.

Dont forget to turn on your Ai servo when shooting moving objects.
