the ebay link has a video of it, and I think the video is on youtube also...it is actually a simple bracket, I'm sure someone could make one quite easily. Sorry, I did not take a pic of the parts before installing. It's just basically on a track and there's a spring on the bottom:

i just took mine off b/c in NC you dont have to one, but i still have my NY plates on the car, but i ride w/o a front plate.

Mine is going on tomorrow. I'm going to have a friend fabricate a bracket for me since I just had the Five Axis lip kit put on.

 

My front plate has been off for more than a year without me getting a ticket. A lot of people roll without a front plate in CA. I figure the more people do it, the less chance there is of getting pulled over. I even passed my inspection for tint at the Sheriff's station with no front plate displayed.

Besides, the plate ticket here in CA just comes with a $10 administrative fee. That's nothing. I know someone who accidentally ran a red light across the Orange Line bus lane here in the valley, and the ticket was $385. The cameras at the bus lane intersections only photograph the front of the offending vehicle, and can only locate the owner by reading the front license plate. Now that's a reason to lose the front plate.
