Yeah, i'm going to get one under the heat shield near the gas tank. It's the only other "straight" section I could add one.

Nice, thats a clean install. Alot better than that guy with the spintech. Im going to print those out incase i go with that type of muffler. Need better sound quality... too much distortion. It does sound good though. Drive-by?

Yeah, my camera picks up every little single sound and amplifies it. I'll try to have a drive by done in a bit. I might get a 12 inch resonator though. Just to cut all high end noise out and just have an SRT sound.

I've got 2 drivebys slowly uploading in photobucket and one more idle vid. Almost no distortion. But I think I need another resonator. A little rasp is coming out.... ah well

That camera doesnt do it any justice. But if u can listen past the distortion it sounds good. Definatley different. If u put a second resonator on it would sound a lot deeper. Well see how the spiral flow sounds on mine. Im going to install that before i replace the muffler.

Ok, b/c if that sounds good, i'm going to get a 12 inch resonator from Vibrant and get that welded on. I have a good bit of rasp now. Oh well. I honestly believe it gave me a bit more high end HP due to it not being restricitve at all. I can definately gain some speed quick from 65-100 compared to how it was.

Drive by 2:

That's the resonator I was looking at getting. Anyone have a better/cheaper site?

Bsmntcuts: Did you get the resonator/muffler installed yet? I'm anxious. I found a 12 inch dynomax muffler/resonator bullet form Part# 24215 for 42$.

My rasp is loud when it's a cold start. But the exhaust is really loud now at WOT from 2nd-4th..........

Nope, the spiral flow is in the mail right now. It will be here on wed. Getting it installed on thurs... Precisionmuffler.com has resonators for cheap. You have to e-mail them for a price though. Summitracing.com has a pretty nice selection. Thats where i got my spiral flow. I would say that $60 for that vibrant is too much... precisionmuffler.com has 30" resonators for about $30. I would go there or summit

For some reason, I can't pull up precision muffler's page. If I got the 30 inch resonator, that would have to be "spliced" into the pipe right after the CAT. The one that our pipe comes with is pretty long anyways right? I thought it was about 18 inches long. I was just gonna get another 12 inch resonator and put it after the second flange. What would be best b/c my 40 series is definately showing it's bark now. Pretty loud. I want to muffle it just a bit.

Dont get a 30" resonator, I was just giving a cost example. its better if you have 2 seperate ones... Just add a 12-18 inch to the existing resonator.

I just got a magnaflow muffler. It's 14 in (20 inch) overall. 4 inches round and got it for 60$ shipped. Supposed to be a good sound suppresent. We'll see how it goes.

Mine's due in on Friday so I might either get it on Saturday morning or Monday if I can leave work a few hours early. We'll see.

I can't wait b/c I've noticed now that after the exhaust has "settled" in to having the new flowmaster, it's so wide open than it's lost a bit of torque. HP is there at high speeds, but I mean more around 80+ rather than 60ish. So, with this muffler/resonator I'm getting, I'm hoping it slows the exhaust a bit and drowns it out to give me back the hp/tq and more of a deep sound rather than just rasp.
