I just read all 18 pages of this thread....im looking for a cat-back exhaust that will not produce rasp ..i have the TRD axelback exhasut my exhaust sounded great with jsut the injen CAI....but now i put on the Alphawerks Headers....and it sounds like a civic fart can....i want to add an s-pipe and mid-pipe with resonators....and looking at the draxas it has it all in one package ...catback with s-pipe and resonator in one.....which i like....but with the new videos i jsut saw it sounds exactly like my TRD Exhaust and i have a stock midpipe and s-pipe and i hate it.....so i was thiknig of selling my TRD exhaust and going with this but im a lil nervous now....i do not want to spend more money and end up of having the same exact sound...i want a deeper sound like i had without the headers but with performance as well....so now im stuck with this decision buying an spipe and midpipe and adding resonators ($200 spipe + $300midpipe + $100 resonators=$600+installation) or jsut selling my TRD and getting the draxas($725draxas -$250selling TRD Exhaust =$475+installation) the TRD exhasut has 8k Miles on it...who knows how much i can get (250 was an estimate)....tough decision i also have an automatic jsut to add that in

We have been awaiting Draxas' response to the videos for almost two weeks. They were supposed to listen to the videos and determine if there is a problem with the exhaust, which should be covered by their lifetime warranty, but since the day the videos were posted, Draxas is nowhere to be found. I don't know if they are just trying to avoid the issue or what, but we all want an answer, or at the least a response to the videos. If you buy this exhaust right now, it will probably sound like crap with your header. Keep an eye on this thread to see if they ever address the problem, and if they never do, then it is probably best you did not do business with them in the first place. We are not asking alot of Draxas, we just want our cars to sound like the one in the video posted on their website. I, personally, am not mad at Draxas, I just want to know the reasoning for their blatant disregard for customer service. Especially after this comment:

I NEED VIDEO! :-) That way I can email it to Thermal who makes these kits for us, so they can see/hear for themselves. If we need to send you out a new rear muffler per our warranty, then we will do that.

Im committed to keeping our customers happy.
Breakaway, do you have anything to say on behalf of your sponsor? We're all anxiously awaiting an answer.

I know this situation has nothing to do with Breakaway, he just has a closer connection with Draxas than most of us. This is in no way a personal attack against anyone, so please do not take it as such, I just want to know that Draxas is still around and did not head for the hills.

I don't think he was flooring it either... Draxas' response to that was that he hit the rev limiter. You can hit the rev limiter without flooring it. Try it if you don't believe me. I have similar mods as the car in the video and based on my experience, he should be flying through the gears alot faster than that. You can see my argument a few pages back on this thread. I finally just let it go... Draxas said he went wide open throttle, so I took it as truth and gave up.

I havent had time to read through all of these posts.... those of you who have the issue, you really need to call us or email me directly... but preferably call. That is the best.

Please do not use the Scion Life message boards (or any other message board for that matter) as the primary form of communication with me. Those customers who call us get answers to their questions and concerns very quickly.

Im currently on travel in Phoenix, AZ on business...The plan is to get ship new rear sections to those folks having issues with the exhaust. Considering we have shipped out over 50 of these exhausts and only a very small number of people have this problem, I believe it is a manufacturing defect.

I have our business cell phone with me. I am not able to answer it during the day due to meetings, but I am checking voice mailes. CALL ME and leave a message so I can call you back.

If I spent all my time reading and posting on all the message boards we sponsor and have a presence on I wouldnt have time to take care of any other business. Message boards are a helpful secondary or even third way to communicate with our customers.. but it is in no way the best way for primary communication.

I appreciate the response, and am glad to hear that actions are being taken to correct the problem. I will give you a call sometime this afternoon. The reason I have been trying to contact you mainly on here is because when I ordered the exhaust, there was noone answering the phones and messages were never returned. I felt that calling would be the least effective way of contacting you, but we will get this all resolved. Thank you again.

I am also sorry I have not replied to this topic, Raider PM'ed me, and I responded to him in a very fast manner. If you need any help that you may think I can help you with, please feel free to PM me, or reply here (i will watch the topic more often). Keep in mind that I do NOT work for draxas, so I may not be able to answer some of your questions, but I can point you in the right direction.

I think myself and tturaider. I talked to nikolas and he said they will go out with the next batch. They are still manufacturing them and should be ready around the 24th. Just to let everyone know that draxas is working the issue.

I had hoped the kits would be ready to ship out by the beginning of this week. And they should have been, it has been 5 weeks since we placed the order with the fabricator. The normal turnaround time is 5-6 weeks, so maybe I was optimistic....?

Anyways.... I stopped by Thermal yesterday to check on the progress and I was told it would be another 1 1/2 weeks before the kits were ready to ship. The rear mufflers have all be constructed, they just need to go into polishing. The other parts need to be deburred and polished as well.

So the safe estimate for when the exhaust systems (as a whole) will be packaged up and ready to ship out is Friday, May 5th.
