I didn't care about your book!

I went out and looked at the salvaged tC in my back yard to take a picture of the switches and found out I was wrong, I even have the picture if you want it, and I didn't say I pulled the switch
up top and bypassed it, I pulled the harness out of it, bypassed it and zip tied it up to the top, and that's where i last remembered the harness being, so I thought the switch was up there to.

I'm not an idiot, I know my stuff, and i was wrong, i took it back, don't tell me you've never made that kind of mistake before.

Me backing down had nothing to do with you saying you had a book in front of you, I went out and looked for myself, and I was wrong.

So, you last remembered it being zip tied up there yourself. That's definitely not referring to the factory setup as I mentioned in my write up.

Like Scionizer and I said, "First get your facts straight" next time.
If you would of checked it out beforehand, we wouldn't be taking this quarrel this far.

But, fair enough.
I'm not one that holds on to grudges.
Hope we don't run into each other like this again. Peace Out.

Debate ends.........back on topic.

Getting my Viper alarm installed in about an hour, lol.

I called around. No one will do remote start. I don't want it anyways, so it's all good.

Best Buy said they would do mine, and I drive a 5 speed.

Circuit City said that I would require a $60 bypass for the clutch...? What the f*ck? If I wanted to bypass it, i'd just tap the wires together for much cheaper than $60!

you guys are morons....arguing on the interwebs. and what is the big f'n deal with leaving the car in gear. can't you just hook up a neutral safety switch so that the alarm knows when the the car is in gear or not? i've done that on other cars. makes the whole thing work great without a hitch. if it's in gear it won't start, problem solved

You either accept it or you don't. Arguments like this one on the forum is what brings the truth out to the table. It happens all the time in discussions. Especially on public forums. If I didn't know something on a certain topic and I'm curious to the correct answer, I wouldn't want to be misinformed.

I'll admit that I do not know everything, however I'm curious to know more about that neutral safety(NS) switch you mentioned. Those are automatic transmission switches. How did you integrate the NS switch to a manual transmission?

I'm waiting..............................................PM'd.

How did you make the NS switch work with the MT?

I'll understand that this kind of info. would probably be inappropriate to give out on the forum, so just PM me when you get the time. Thanks.

My apologies to those who know they deserve them. I still maintain arguing on the internet is silly but to a point. This conversation seems to have an effort to clear up an educational malfunction. I'll leave it at that. Hope those of you searching for information find what you are looking for. Good luck to those of you installing your own alarms.

Scionosis...you have a pm
