Default Pulling the head

I plan on doing valve seals soon. How difficult is it to pull the head of the motor off. Does the whoke motor need to be pulled? Any tips or suggestions?

The vid shows changing them with the head still on. I thought it was easier to take the head off.

Yea because its a real tight fit back there even with the cowl removed. You can take it off its held on by two bolts put it down by hand load it on the hook put it back in bolt it back up and you have to somehow push it when its in there so the hook will come off

If you have the means to pull the motor, definitely pull the motor. Pulling the head while the motor's in the car is not a job for the faint of heart. Possible, just not fun.

Think it will be easier to just buy a new assembled head then actually replacing the valve seals.
