The QR25DE can be found in the Sentra SE-R, Altima, Frontier and the new X-Trail.

It has an 89mm bore and a 100mm stroke and runs a 9.5:1 compression ratio.

Yeah bro... you'd be stupid to try to boost high compression. Boost compression should sit around 8-8.5 to avoid detonation and run high boost.

8:1 CR is pretty low. unless you're running 2 bar i wouldn't go that low.
you'd be safe with 1.5 bar and 8.8:1.... without pulling timing!

I know of a B18b1 running 8:1 on about two bar yeah. Crazy fast though. You're right 8 is low... I'd stick with 8.5:1- 9:1 for a moderate turbo set up.

Thanks man

The weight ratio for the tC would change if you made it to RWD due to the drive shaft, orinetation of the engine and transmission. I can't say what the ratio would be but it would change. Of course I mean putting in a new qr engine into the tC. and why wouldn't it be carb legal.... clarify pls

doing the RWD change will mean custom suspension... (if you want to do it right)
