I say ACT clutch ftw. We just put one in with my brother and after 1,000 miles, he has gotten used to the harder pedal and loves the clutch. It does engage much lower on the pedal now. He is doing 300+tq

stock clutch:

I think it says a lot because they market their clutches, not as stock replacements, but as clutches that can take a beating. If a 360+hp rated clutch can't hold the power of a 250hp tC, whether it was beat on or not, they should go back to the drawing board. It shouldn't matter if you babied the car where it never saw above the stock hp, if you went to the drag strip every day after work where it saw the 250hp, if you launch the car t every red light of if you granny feather it at every light, it should have been capable of holding the power you were creating for much longer than 1 oil change interval but I digress, you are indeed correct.

my stocker held up to about 220tq but after i fine tuned things it wouldnt hold at the track putting down 301tq. as long as your not launching the car your good for a while, but take it to the track and youll see the limits of this clutch...lol

CC is GREAT!!

I have a perfectly working CC Stage 4 clutch!

No company is going to have a 0% fail rate.

That being said, I have my flame retardant gear on.

no one is going to flame you bro...lol...i agree with ya. just so far it seems like there is more fail than win when it comes to CC. Id like to hear more peeps out there that have had good luck with them. I want to hear both sides.

As with most products, you never hear from people if it works as it should, only when ish hits the fan do people come out of their shell and scream death to the dictator.

true...it either that or peeps jump on a band wagon talking about how good a product is when they never have owned it and dont have the daily exp. with it. it goes both ways. (no homo)
