I was really wishing that you didn't have this in your oil pan. This makes my stomach sink, even if isn't my machine. I'm in the military too and I know it sucks finding a place to do your projects. Being deployed all the time makes things worse because your always in between projects or can't do them because your gone!! I feel for you brother, it is a sad day when you pop an engine. Is this your first one?

When you built your block did you resleeve or just bore out to the next size?
Again, sad news about your car. Keep us posted on what you plan on doing next.

Terminators are very nice. I'm a fan of speed in general. I have owned a few american muscle pieces myself. I loved my Lightning and hated seeing how the person who bought it from me destroyed it!

I didn't like the insurance or the fact that it was a three seater. Since, I mostly stick to imports. Easy to mod and easy to swap nearly anything in them. Sad to see you go down a different path. But a terminator is a good way to go if your going to do it. At times I get sick of the whole mod route and am tempted to buy out of box fast. Years down the road the itch comes at you again.

If you do stay with the 2AZFE I would go for the Alpha system. I'm currently finishing the last of my purchases for this system. I hope to go big and leave it there. I want to enjoy my car for what it is. I'm not HP crazy anymore I want fast dependable boost. The only way to get that these days is pay the price. Standalone and Vband all the way.

Good luck with it all. Oh, were you running a pull thru setup or blow thru setup? I know you were running a AEM FIC dependent on a MAP but I'm just curious.

Oil is black, your is chocolate/ penut butter, that's a sign of water/coolant in your oil sorry to say but cyl 4 isn't the only worry... In the mean time heat that stuff up n enjoy your mineral enriched hot cocoa

oil is a lite brown color usually well atleast my rotella is anyway. and there isnt any coolant in there. the coolant would float to the top of the surface of the oil. thats wat it looks like wen metal mixes with oil.

it's metal dust in the oil from what i'd guess is you had some metal on metal contact in the engine. but there is more then just oil in that pan. you can say we're wrong all you want but that doesnt change there is more than just oil in that pan.

When I saw the pics, instantly the castrol oil commercial came to mind. Guy driving up the ramp and a bunch of sludge dumping on top of the car.

Sorry to see that man, I know how it feels. Nothing that a new build and good tune can't fix.
