yea both build and tune were good motor had maybe 5000 miles on it. im fixing with it and moving on. ive had it since 07 and been contemplating on buyin somethin else for some time now so shes goneeee.
hah paul way to make me feel bad. im already anticipating that im gonna have to replace pistons and bearings. think im gonna go with wiseco instead of cp this time around
Why do you want to switch to Wiseco? I dont think the CP pistons were the issue here. I've never had any problems with them. Thats what we use on all the Subaru stuff too, even the ones making over 600whp. I think they're rated to 400hp per hole, so if used correctly, they can take some abuse.

man i dunno wat im gonna do and bryan y you always think someone is blaming somethin or someone? i never blamed anyone or anything for this. and btw got the motor pulled today, probably wont have time to tear it open til next week sometime tho
nah man coolant was still same color. i kno after alot of thinkin im jus gonna keep this thing and get a standalone next year wen i get back from iraq. dont kno wat system yet but gettin rid of this fic i kno that much
well i pulled the motor apart today and the piston aparrently melted some how. not quite sure the cause of it but gonna go to a machine shop this week sometime to see about gettin it fixed and will post pics later\
