Default Driver seat rocking

I bought a tC about 2 weeks ago and really like it. I have noticed recently though that my drivers seat seems to rock back and forth very slightly. I can actually feel it sometimes rock back when I accelerate and forward when I brake. Has anyone else expierienced this? Its starting to get annoying. I had the same problem on my 02 Civic Ex and it really never got fixed. The seat has alot of ways of adjustment, so I am thinking that one of the mechanisms is allowing the movement. I dont know whether or not to bother taking it in to be looked at because if it is anything like my 02 Civic, there nothing really to be done. So, I was thinking about a stationary aftermarket seat, one that just reclines. TRD makes a nice one. I have side air bags though. How would I be able to use a aftermarket seat without the whole airbag system being disabled?

i just started noticing that with my seat too... haven't really done much or asked around.. but i think it's only when the seat is adjusted to a certain spot for me that it does that (which happens to be where i adjusted it to, to sit normally)

i'm guessing wear and tear... i dunno...

not sure about the srs airbags either...

Mine does this clunking thing just as described by the original poster. It is highly annoying and has been there almost since new. I will have them look at it when I go in for my oil change

Default Same Here....

My 2006 tC is only two weeks old, and I am having problems with the same thing. I have an appointment tomorrow at the DS to get it fixed. It rocks back and fourth when I accelerate and come to a stop. It is just enought to be really annoying...
