ok... im sorry im not really good with all this audio talk but i was just wondering if i got the SQ10 sub should i get a S2 or S4 voice coil and... which amp should i get? the NINe.2X or NINe.2??
From Elemental Designs, an SQ10 S4 and a Nine.2....
OR...
You could get an SQ10 S4, Nine.4 amp, and eD(i)6000s or 6500s components for the front.... Bridge the 2 rear channels to the SQ10 and run the front 2 channels on the components - would be killer!!!!!

Anyone have pictures of their setup yet? I was trying to visualize where the amp would go if I wanted it to be not easily visible (and keep my spare tire as well). Of course, with the cargo cover attached, it wouldn't matter that much.

That's correct.... you'll need a Single 4ohm VC to match with the nine.4. Components will definitely add to the overall SQ...
I am planning on ordering the sub today, but have no knowledge of this voice coil stuff, I read the page on it and still am confused. I have a MTX 251D amp. I am not expecting much, I just want some sort of extra bass, without having a box in the back. Tech support is closed until the 27th, so I figured I would ask here. I found these specs on my amp to make it easier. Hopefully this will make telling me what I need a little easier.

With the 251D, You should get a Single 2ohm voice coil sub...
If you were going to get 2 SQ10's, you'd get the single 4 ohm in both subs and wire them in parallel for a 2ohm load....
Bottom line: for 1 sub on the MTX 251D - Get a single 2 ohm sub

Ummm, so I found out at a car stereo place today that JL Audio is putting out a Stealthbox for the tC. It's not even on their website yet but they've sent out "coming soon" printed materials
