I got the d3, cam, i200, xm, sirius, and all the install stuff for 1019. I used the gift card to get the i200 and the person I spoke to said he'd ship it free. Crutchfield's service is so awesome. I bought from them the first time because of the mastersheets and thought I'd never buy from them again, but their service is just amazing.

Please do post pics when you get a chance...I like to get some ideas on where to have the cam positioned. Thanks!

I just got mine and installed it yesterday. It is a sweet unit and it recalculates a route on the nav pretty quick and is fairly accurate. The hardest part about the install was routing the GPS antenna.

I still need to get the bluetooth and the steering wheel control adapter. Also, I am hoping I can save and get a nice amp and some components soon

^^^ Should have followed what I did and stuffed the GPS antenna between the dash and center vents. There's actually an indentation in the vent that works perfectly for the GPS & foam. Zero reception problems!

I was going to, but considering I got off of work and got home at 1am and had no foam at home I decided to snake the wire from the A-pillar to the dash and installed it in the A-pillar

I've been wondering about that location u have there. The GPS antenna can really penetrate through the dash and have reception? I should give that a try.

That's what I did. I have my GPS receiver in the A-pillar.

Since you're asking, I wouldn't bother getting the CD changer, unless you play CDs more than anything else. I'm satisfied with the iPod and radio...though I am looking into HD and XM radio. I'm getting tired of the static from regular radio stations.

It was me (I didn't really read the manual), but it was pointed out by MechX2:

Also the hatch would close with the unit in, so I dremeled out where the volume **** would hit. Still looks like factor but now it closes Smile and I noticed the sides of your AVIC-D3 show through the back of the unit (GAP SPACE) the border that came with the unit can be cut with snips and just hot glued on the side, looks alot cleaner. Where did you put your GPS / XM antennas? Any ideas how to bypass the DVD video while not parked? I'll post pics once I clean up the car.

Yes, you can burn it onto a DVD or a CD and it'll play.

Also, for Chapman, there is no HD Radio tuner from Pioneer. I am hoping they release one because I do listen to a lot of FM radio and most of the stations I listen to broadcast in HD. I had it on one of my Alpines a while back and I miss it. I just hope Pioneer does it right and supports the multicasting feature, my Alpine didn't

+1. I've yet to experience HD radio, so I was just going to see what Pioneer had to offer (since they pretty much offer everything), but to my surprise, they didn't have the HD radio tuner. I haven't heard if they're releasing one, but hopefully they will. What is the multicasting feature?

I know you can mess with the hue chart but if you just want to change the button lights, not messing with the hue chart, you go into Dash Illumination you will find i believe 8 different colors (amber, yellow, blue, light blue, white, etc.). You can use the hue chart or the other colors to change the backgrounds or download your own.

Just easier way for some to change buttons to amber. I originally used yellow as i saw your post, Chapman. I didnt really read the manual either just played with the menus messed with the hue chart and then later found Dash illum. and amber matched better than my hue chart attemps. I hate tapping the touch screen constantly in order to scroll, that sux. When my 80gb ipod comes in i'm sure that will suck and no search sucks but as mentioned playlist will have to be made.
